We were hungry and having a treat ourselves kind of day (as one does when visiting France) so we shared the Foie gras, Linguini aux Vongole, and Risotto Carnaroli aux Gambas & Parmesan. I don't know much about Foie gras, but what we got was large and fatty, but firm, and richer than any other version I'd had before. The boo really loved it. The Linguini featured lots of delicious clams, but was a bit too oily for me. The Risotto was divine. Perfectly cooked and the Parmesan flakes added fantastic flavor. The shrimp was also large and delicious. I wish there had been more because they were yummy! Although it was way more food than we needed, we savored every last bite! Pierre en croute, sister had the crab ravioli, her bf had the duck and my dad got the riso de gambas. I don't eat that much cooked fish, but that easily made my top 3 (one of the others is Nobu's miso black cod). The fish was cooked perfectly and lightly seasoned but with subtle citrus notes - perfectly balanced in every way. It was accompanied by well cooked veg and olives, which worked so well.
