We visit family in the area and most parks don't have concrete pads or any amenities but Chuck's does! Because it is new, not everything is ready yet, but there will be lots to do once it's all done. The couple who checked us in were super nice and the location is very easy to get in and out of. It is close to Highway 175, so you get a little bit of road noise, but not too bad. If you are visiting the area, I highly recommend Chuck's as your best option for an RV park.

I have a 45' Class A pull a toad. When I called to make reservations the manager did not hesitate to tell me they could accommodate my length. Getting to the park requires a trip down a narrow street with low hanging branches and branches encroaching into the street resulting in multiple scratches on the sides of the RV. There was no place to turn around in the street and backing up was out of the question too. Upon arriving to the park the OPEN sign was lite, but the office door was locked. Made a call to the afterhours number and the manager showed up. She again reiterated the park could accommodate my Class A and toad. She showed me my site. More low hanging branches and more scratches on the RV. It became obvious very fast this was not going to be a good outcome. Multiple trees prevent the required tight turns to get into the sites, even after disconnecting the toad. I finally called it quits and told the manager I was going to have to go someplace else. She acknowledged I was not going to fit into a site, apologized, and said she would issue a refund right away. She never did issue the refund. I then filed a dispute on my credit card when she disputed after telling me she would issue a refund. Before I left, one of the permanent guests told me he had never seen a bus in the park and also agreed there was no way I could fit.

The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always available to help with anything you need. I especially loved the added touches like the dog park, laundry facilities, and the privacy fences between spots. It really feels like a little community, and it's just minutes from Cedar Creek Lake, which is a huge bonus for fishing or relaxing by the water. These people are so super nice. They sponsored a bingo game for us giving prices. They provided a free donuts one morning and gave us all free coupons for the coffee/food truck the maintenance guy not only filled up my mom's flat tire twice, but then took it across the street to the tire shop to get it fixed. Who does that?! When we asked about checkout time, the comment was "well no one else is coming for your spot, we're not gonna chase you out of here" unbelievable! Other campsites are so strict about checkout times then they can be rude amazing amenities, nice pool, wish it had more shade. Movie theater, pool table, ping-pong, table, what else can I say we loved it.

We stayed here for several weeks as we took the classes with the NRVTA! Very nice place, the…read morepeople are great, the facilities very nice and accommodating! The prices, I felt, are reasonable but when you need to pay class in full and then camping in full, it's a little overwhelming. Thankful that they have bathrooms and showers, community building with laundry and fully stocked kitchen, greats ponds to walk the dogs around, and the maintenance guys are great! The only things I would say is to add bug lights on the community building porch so that we can sit out there and enjoy and replace the burnt out bulbs by the community fire pit. Other than that, we would be back!

This is a great place to rent a kayak and go into the water only a few steps (literally) away…read more Kayak rental is open to anyone, it is not limited to customers with an RV site rental. They have a good assortment of kayaks available. We do not own our own kayaks or have a truck, so this gives us more freedom to enjoy nature from the water. The owner is very friendly and helpful. This will be a business we return to again and again!
