Went to showroom and picked a door and options and thet came out to measure opening promptly. Personnel were polite and straightforward. I had a couple of other glass installers come out and give estimates but i didnt get a warm-fuzzy on the install process. I was concerned about possible penetration of the waterproof membrane curbing for the shower and Falmouth Glass gave me most thorough explanation of the process and assuring me the curbing waterproofing would not be compromised. The install went smoothly except i noticed the door hinge was slightly crooked. I called and a couple of (polite) guys returned promptly and straightened the hinge. Door looks great and operates smoothly.

When no one called after eight days I called back and was told they would leave a note for me to be called. Again no call. I will never deal with this company again, even if it cost more to go with someone else. Terrible customer service. Gave them one star as I had to click on something, but they deserve zero.

I…read morebrought my new Honda CRV to Advanced Auto Glass because I had heard the owner did great work (unfortunately he had someone else there install the windshield). Both the owner and his employee were very friendly and presented themselves professionally. After the install I brought the car back twice telling them it was leaking. The first time was within a couple of weeks and the second time was within the following week. Every time it rained there was a puddle on the right side on of the passengers side on the mat. He dismissed me and said not to leave the window open overnight when the car was not in use (wonder if he would say that to a man)! He then said it was the sunroof which I unfortunately had them replace. I have barely used the sunroof (maybe a couple dozen times) and it no longer works. I am the only driver and never leave windows open. He said there was no way the windshield was leaking and insisted I left a window open and it rained. When I said I never leave the windows open he said it must have been someone else who drove my car. I am the only person who had driven my new car at that time. There was a direct correlation between it raining and puddles being on the mat of the passenger side which was easy to confirm with a hose. The owner refused to even assess for a leak. Yesterday I was cleaning my windshield and happened to find a gap in the "seal" that is big enough to put a finger in! Certainly big enough to be a leak. Immediately after the install the owner told me I was all set. I confirmed I would pay and asked how long I should wait for the adhesive to dry and he told me I did not have to wait as it didn't make a difference. Everything on line from other companies that install windshields recommend waiting for the adhesive to dry and cure.

He did not get back to me. I called again with no reply, so I went to the address listed for them and they had left a note taped to the door saying they were on an installation. A cell phone number was listed on the note so I called it. The owner of Cape Glass answered, not expecting me to be on the other end, and assured me that he would get me the info I needed in order to order the glass table-top that I wanted to purchase and call me back later that afternoon. Even if took 10 board feet (1 board foot = 144 cubic inches) to construct a door, at $10 /board foot that's $100 f I r the lumber. Doors starting at around $3000 is just sn astounding amount for the labor, ie assembly, milling, painting. Had seen one of their doors in the neighborhood and I stopped to inquire. Elderly woman told me she paid $9500 for 2 doors. Presumably that was including installation but possibly not.​
