The leak was getting worse and Derrick shut down the water heater and took the pressure off it. The following day Eli showed up with a new water heater, removed the old one and installed the new one, and by late afternoon he and Alan had the new one working perfectly. They looked at the truck Mon afternoon, ordered the part overnight and had the alternator replaced and the truck back on the road by early Tues afternoon. And I'm not sure how much it would have cost at home - but it was about half of what I was expecting.
