Made appt as requested for 10 am. Owner called at 12 noon and said he was on his way to detail car. Had a gift certificate for $200 interior cleaning. We discussed the job and he said could be more. I said only do $200. He said would be done between 4-5pm. He called at 2:50pm and said to come down at 3:30. Told me had a balance of $50 and please bring cash. Went down to pick up car. Car was running out front on the battery and he was not to be found. His car was there and I left the $50 (BIG MISTAKE I KNOW) and he appeared at my window freaking out that I was leaving. I went to a nearby parking lot and looked it over. it was not armoralled, windows were streaky and only one seat was shampood because it was still wet. floor mats still had dirt on them . I turned around and went back He was gone and I called . He was beyond rude when I explained I was unhappy and told me to have a hood day, do mot call again and don't do business with him. We took our car to be detailed at Cape Auto Detail located at 109 route 6A in Sandwich. We were so excited when we called Saturday morning November 5 2022 and spoke with the owner John he said he could detail the car that day as he had a 10am cancelation. Steve took the car down and they went around the entire car and went over everything we wanted (extra care to the top of the bumper where the dog nails were scratching and dog hair and sand in the car) other than that the car is in excellent shape it's our first luxury car and it's our baby shes 4 years old with less than 25,000 miles. When Steve dropped the car off John said he needed to keep our car for the night, that he would leave it in the bay with fans on so it could dry out overnight and we could pick it up in the morning. We have never had to do this with any other place we have had our cars detailed but he said he was the best detailer on the cape and I have heard really good things about his work. I have an app on my phone that alerts me when the car unlocked and it also pinpoints the location. All day my car sat at his shop at 109 Route 6a around 6:30 my car said it was at 112 old kings highway so I googled that and that is the fire station. I thought weird why is the car moving? Well the car ended up in a residential home in town off route 130. I screenshot the address and sent it to Steve who was out getting our Moto pizza. He sent it to John asking why our car was moving and he had no permission to drive or take the car anywhere. When steve got back we headed to the address. ( we were so upset in that moment what we should have done is call the police and reported it stolen) We got there around 7:40 and it was dark. Steve got the key back and Steve told him he would give him the opportunity to fix the situation and we would bring the car back to the shop in the morning. When we got up on Sunday morning we saw the damage to the drivers side rear panel. I was so mad I couldn't believe it. We called John and he denied any damages he said he would not take the blame but he would fix it. There is no fixing it the metal is exposed it needs to be painted now. Had a horrible experience with this shop, as did a friend. Things were missing from my car and the guy that cleaned it seemed out of his mind. Would not go here ever again.... and if you do, don't leave anything in your car that you don't want missing. read more

My car was a mess inside - a spilled coffee soaked the seats and splashed all over the dash. Food crumbs in the carpet. Yuk! I stopped by the shop on 6A and John gave me a quote (very fair I'd say). He said he'd even squeeze me in that afternoon! He called me a few hours later and said my car was ready. My car was beautiful again! Everything was spotless. My car looked absolutely immaculate and the heavy smoke scent that I was hoping to clear was undetectable. Amazing job and really nice guy.

They charged me $150 to wash and vacuum the car it was never waxed and dirt was never removed from the sunroof I will never take another car to them again Highly recommend you go somewhere else read more
