I have been using this car wash for years, and I will not be going back after today. Ran my car through the wash, and it came out dirty. Road salt everywhere. I have been using SCW since it opened. Sometime over the years they decided to go with recycled rinse water. As you approach the rinse area you can smell the rancid rinse water, seriously , it smells like sewage. Just plain "NASTY". Hence, your vehicle must be completely hand wiped down to remove the dirty film. Seems to me, that after spending $22.00 , you shouldn't have to get out of your car in the parking lot and hand-wipe the entire vehicle !!! read more

There are muddy streaks on my mirrors, Windshield and ALL over my truck!!! Smells like sewerage inside the "car wash". The 2 Jamokes working there have a combined I.Q. Of roughly 14.274. The owner, John, squeezed me in on a day where I think he has 3-4 other cars. That didn't mean lack of attention to DETAIL. My car was spotless. I keep it generally clean, so that means the areas of problem, I am very privy to. I have some stains behind my drivers seat, and some leather scuffs in my seats. Both were removed and restored. Outside was hand/power buffed. Double waxed. This kid went hard for 3 hours, and made the car look beautiful. Prices are very low considering this is a high end detail service. I have had some horrible jobs done for much more $. I'll definitely be back, and recommend it to anyone. Side bar: great location in terms of what to do while waiting. 12/15/2019 I am a person that would much rather give accolades, than negativity. That being said, *SIGH* I have the monthly pass, (not any more) I own a 2019 F250. No racks, just truck. I tip heavily as to get a good job, and I recognise good work when I see it. Well, mediocrity seems to be their highest goal set, in my mind... They have quite a ways to go, to REACH mediocrity... When the regular two boys are in, they do a good job. However, they are constrained by the dirty water that is not being filtered properly. No salt remediation at all. As we go into the winter here, the car wash will ultimately become the SALT WASH. You will actually be putting more salt, into areas the road dirt usually misses. I have asked nicely of the management to allow the kids to do a better job, especially when I tip 10 dollars to each kid. I believe in rewarding good behavior. Unfortunately, It has turned into the toilet, of car washes. I concur with the people are good, that work there, however, they are pushed by management towards volume, not quality. I have to rub the entire truck down afterwards. Which begs the question, WHY AM I HERE? I may as well hand wash it from now on. I asked to cancel my monthly subscription from my computer. Was told I had to come in. What dystopian systems are they using down there? Short of it, your car will come out with water stains (DIRT) all over it, not just the chrome... I am done paying WAY TO MUCH, for way to little. Business 101. Take care of your customers, and they will reciprocate, in kind. I have been coming to SCW for 5 months and have always gotten a quality wash and have been treated well. You can pay each time to get a wash or obtain a monthly pass of unlimited washes. I chose the unlimited washes and was satisfied that I got my money's worth. They also prorate cancellations, so when I stopped the service i got refunded for the days that I did not use before the next billing date. Today, my car broke down right outside of the car wash and two staff members, Josh and another associate were very helpful and curtious to me. They let me sit in the waiting room, provided water and good conversation while I was making calls for a tow. One interesting fact that I learned from the staff is that Sanwhich car wash reclaims all of the water they use so it only takes about 2 gallons of water to wash a car. The water is then collected and filtered so that it is pure and can go through the cycle again. I was shocked by this------ 2 gallons is extremely efficient compared to other car washes, or washing from homw. All around a 5 star place. Good quality of washes, friendly staff, appropriately priced. Thank you for your help. read more

What a great place, my truck sat under the trees for over a year, I brought it here for a quick wash and the prep girls were wonderful the took their time and pretty much wsshed it by hand, i was going to sell the truck for scrap but now I'm falling in love with it again. Very thorough and hands-off carwash. Perfect. 20$ for 'The Works." This is a competitive price for the places I've been on the Cape. They have coin operated vacs, tire air, floor mat cleaners and a self-towel area for your car. I enjoy taking care of things myself when I can so I know it's done right and the area after the drive thru part is exactly what I want. If your car looks crappy after you drive away from here, it's your fault. read more

My Volvo is a week old. It has not been driven in snow or sleet. I brought it to the car wash today to have it spruced up for the holidays. After going through the wash, it came out looking worse than before it went in. Covered in white streaks and specks, I brought it back to complain and was told I didn't "wipe it down," and there were "complimentary" towels for that purpose. They are using "re-cycled" water that apparently has a lot of salt in it that leaves streaks on the car. Well, to me that says DIRTY water. I brought the car home and had to wash off all that dirty water and wipe it down to boot! The woman I spoke to seemed to indicate this was standard operating procedure. I told her I had been driving for sixty years, and I never had to rinse off or wipe down my car when it came out of the car wash. I will not be returning! read more

This place looked great from the road! Pulled up to the price board and thought it was a bit steep and opted for the $16 wash(the top wash was $25!!) The operator sprayed the car but didn't bother wiping or scrubbing the dead bugs off the front. I was hoping maybe the wash itself would get them off but to no avail! For the type of wash my car received I would pay $5 tops! No dead bugs came off(I had to wipe them off at home.) I would not come here again even if I lived in sandwich. read more

Never again. My 2020 RAM 1500 with less than 1k miles went through and the attendant didn't put it on the track correctly because she "didn't realize it wasn't front wheel drive". It jolted off the track halfway through, shutting down the car wash. It involved another giant jerk to the frame of my brand new vehicle to get it back on the track. Got through and went to the office where two young girls hid till husband called out to them, and then told us to go through again. Didn't trust these two very young and obviously inexperienced people to do it correctly the second time which they were confused by, only commenting "It's not your fault". Since I'm over 50 and have owned corporate vehicles requiring weekly car wash, I've been through many and never had such a bad experience as here. read more

I went today to remove the salt from my car because I couldn't see out my back window. Paid for the deluxe wash $16. My car is now covered with soap. The drying blowers were not working. I'm no further ahead. Just short $16. read more

After living on the Cape for a couple of years under pine trees and oak trees my 2008 vehicle was really showing it's wear. I brought it for an exterior detail and added the black trim and headlight polishing to my package. Kyle at Sandwich car wash detailing facility did a phenomenal job! So I've been going here for the past 7 years. Off and on in the winter and 4 months season pass in the summer to get the Sandy Neck off the truck. Staff is pretty seasoned, they get used to what you want when they do the pre wash (I like the wheel wheels done). I always try and give at least a dollar or two each time I go through. My only complaint is the rinse cycle. They provide towels to dry off but it always seems like it didn't get rinsed enough and there is soap residue. I'd like to ask if I can just get a rinse and see what that does as they do recycle the water. Over all 4/5 rating read more

Next door to the Shell Station and Marshland ...you can fill your clean car and satisfy your appetite in one stop ! Always busy and the cars that have been detailed look terrific. A good friend who owns an expensive car frequents the place and confirms that they do a great job. I have only been there once when they first opened for an interior detail and it looked terrific. If you drive a truck or suv, then this place is great! But BEWARE if you drive a car that has low bumpers and fenders. There is a wheel cleaner on the passenger side that will scratch your paint and pull the plastic tabs right off. It's impossible to bring these types of issues to management, since they will simply say it didn't happen there. The new upgrades would have made this the best car wash. The towel dry area is great, too. But a clean car doesn't matter at all if it's all scratched up! Find a touch-free spot or self wash! read more

I paid $25 for the ultimate wash, which is supposed to be the best one. As soon as my car came out of the wash it still had black dirt all over the hood and sides of my car. Definitely not worth the price!! read more

I've been here three times within a year, each time was the same . Out of order change machine , if you think up your phone timer to the vacuum timer it is not five minutes. That alone is super sketchy . Vending machines are always empty , they give you free towels that are probably dipped in crap so you have to come back earlier because they're so sketchy . I save money and get a better car wash from elementary school kids at the high school. read more

I wish my experience was as positive as the other posters. On the initial glance everything looked wonderful, but after I drove away and had a closer look I could see all the areas that had not been cleaned. I was expecting to be told they would not put the car seat back in the car. What I discovered was the seat had not been removed and the car area around the car seat had not been washed. The back of the passenger's seat had not been cleaned from the foot prints made by the toddler in the car seat, either. Very disappointed. read more

Not all all impressed with this Auto "Detail" shop. Brought my truck with shell on it. 2006 Toyota Tundra. Father of owner didn't have much time to talk to me regarding what his one (1) wash and "detail" guy was gonna do to my truck. Said his "main business was detailing boats at Marina" and had to leave. Basically blew me off. Waited 3 hours. $100 bucks later, couldn't believe my eyes. It was vacuumed, washed, and basically just sprayed and hosed down ,,, Carpets not cleaned. Waxed over bad spots that should have come off in the wash. Wash was just a "hose off" Windows were streaky. Chrome wheels still had brake dust. Told me he couldn't get them clean,,, (I mentioned 0000 Steel Wool with soapy water) he just sprayed a solution on them and hosed it off. He hosed off the front weather tech floor mats, and put them in all wet !!! This is NOT A DETAIL shop. Not even a good car wash !!!! I drive by there and chuckle now !! This car wash has so much to learn. OWNERS...go to a Scrub a Dub and watch. Put out cloths and armor all and wonder on carts so that customers can freshen up the car on their own after washing. And plllleeeaassee do something about the sub par job your wash does. Almost nothing comes off in the wash (bird poop, pollen, etc) and the people you hire to do the initial brush scrub can't be bothered to do a good job or take any time. They rush you through afyer barely brushing anything off of your vehicle. Scrub a Dub guys THOROUGHLY brush down your wheels, front and back before sending you through. Again...you're the only game in town...please learn how to do this right and you will make happy customers. read more

so I got my wash and the car wash stopped and then people were walking down the tunnel. I was a little frightend when a Brazilian man was literally screaming at me to get out of the tunnel. He said go around again which I did to be told it would be a bit of a wait so I waited and waited and got in the tunnel again and when I forgot to remove my foot off the brake the Brazilian man was yelling and pounding on my windows!! The other men in the wash were just sitting there while he was yelling at me I also went to dry off my car and have noticed that the car was scratched and the mirror was broken I decided I didn't want to be yelled at so I decided to leave and tell my Facebook page never to go to their car wash the balise ford car wash in Hyannis is 100% better they actually had a great additude and didn't seem so miserable. read more

Scratched the side of my truck and was told "not trying to sound like a Dick, but you can't prove it happened here". Definitely worth it to drive to bourne or falmouth. If you do take your vehicle here, I would suggest a walk through of your vehicle with the manager (who told me he has 20 years experience there, so this shouldn't be an issue) prior to going through the car wash to ensure your vehicle doesn't have damage done to it. Very mediocre to poor full service detailing. Visor mirrors not cleaned, windshield cleared very haphazardly (had to reclean to remove the haze), description of full service detail indicated carpets and seats would be shampooed, but they were not. Streaks of wax left underneath full filler door. Sticky substance not completely removed from paint. Would have brought these things to shop's attention and asked to have the service done right, but had an hour + round trip to get there, plus the car had already been at the business for more than 5 hours. Wasn't willing to have them keep the car any longer to do the things that should have been done in the first place. Will do my own detailing, at least the interior, from now on. read more

I've been using this car wash for quite some time and was considering a monthly wash pass but not after my experience today. I came out with marks on my car (which they did wipe off) and a very small gouge in my hood but it was down to the metal, which will rust and much different than the other chips in just the top coat of paint from rocks on on the highway. Something down to the metal this small doesn't happen with something small on the highway. I'm not sure why I even went back to complain but the woman at the gate was extremely rude an unprofessional as soon as I complained. So wasn't the owner. Part of the reason I'd gone back was so they could check their "soft wash" for anything that may have been stuck from a previous vehicle to prevent others from having this happen. I understand they can't satisfy everyone because they'd be paying for paint jobs all day long. But just based on terrible customer service and the way it was approached I will not be returning. read more

Don't go here if your car is dirty. On Wednesday May 24 2017 - went to Sandwich Car Wash around noon. Paid and went through the wash cycle. I decided before I left to check to see if the car was in fact clean. There was still caterpillar waste on my trunk. So I went back to where you pay and pushed the Help button. It took a long time for the attendant to come. When she did arrive, I told her the car wasn't clean. She looked at me annoyed and argumentative and said that of course it was clean because I had already been through once. I got out of the car and showed her where the dirt was still on my trunk. She said I could go through one more time only which seemed strange to me. Who wants to go through even twice? I asked for the name of the manager and then the large woman she said "Kim" and with a smirk on her face "that's me." At this point she was intimidating me with her hostility. Before I went through again, I told the other 2 women working there that the car wasn't clean and showed them the problem areas. Both of these women pulled attitudes on me as well even though they could remove the debris with a cloth. One of them asked when the car was cleaned last (like that would make a difference, doing your job is getting cars clean before the car wash with water and the brush, which was never used on my trunk). After we went through the second time, all three of the workers were watching at the side of the building and one of them made a hand gesture at me.
