I brought my 18 month old Shih Tzu in for a summer cut. It was in the groomer's unkempt private…read morehome. The groomer (God bless her heart) had to be at least 75 and moved with difficulty. I asked over and over if she was sure she could handle my dog (who is rather spunky) she told me she had been grooming for 35 years she assured me she could. I left my little guy BIG MISTAKE. She charged me $55 and when I got him home found several razor burn marks and bleeding lacerations on his skin behind his legs and on his genitals. He scabbed and had open sores on his penis. Additionally my little guy hovered between my legs for 2 weeks. He was hand shy and would startle in his sleep. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT bring your beloved pet to this person, she's a sweet old lady but can no longer manage grooming without risk of severe injury to the pet.
