I live on the south shore and while I was booking 2 months in advance, could not find something suitable. That was when I decided to look for a place on the cape, and found this place. What I really liked was that they have visiting hours almost every day. Since our rental did not allow dogs, we could still visit our dog while on vacation. They were so lovely to my dog Thunder, you can tell they enjoy animals here. I provided my own food and they called me when they needed more. I felt my dog was taken care of while she is here and would have her stay again. Definitely recommend.

This was the biggest waste of my time EVER . This bad experience started off as I was the one at…read morefault I had missed 3 appointments in a row. I originally went there to have my dog neutered but was told he had to have an exam first . So sadly I missed my appointments .Finally on the fourth attempt I was an hour late and a very nice woman vet saw me . As we were done she said the estimate for the surgery would be emailed to me . I left the appointment and was sitting back in my car and there was this voicemail from Kristen who told me they didn't want me as a customer. Prior to that a paid $90 for a missed appointment my punishment. I messaged this lady back and said I just finished seeing the vet and she told me to wait for an email for the surgery. I tried explaining to her why I was late mainly stemming from a brain tumor which totally turned my world upside down so she I guess felt bad but them she had another opportunity. I eventually got the estimate for his surgery of $1300 maybe 1400 . I couldn't believe it most neutering I knew went from about $500 to 800 . So I think Kristin took that as an opportunity to get rid of me !! Oh well . They need a lot of help in compassionate understanding , pricing and animal care .

Lynne at Howl-a-Day and her staff take very good care of our Ernie and we brought him to stay for a week recently when we were on vacation. I am a 'helicopter parent' when it comes to our little dog since we got him at 12 weeks and he is five now and apart from his initial 3-week training course in his first year, he has been in the company of my husband or myself constantly, except when he is at Howl-a-Day for day care. I knew he couldn't have been in better hands. I appreciate all that they do to keep our furry friends happy and to accommodate kooks like me who worry way too much about their pets.

Jette has been going to full day enrichment at Peace Love Dogs 3 days a week. She goes on hikes and plays on the agility course. Kristin treats all the dogs like family and Jette absolutely LOVES her! Jette gets so excited when she comes to get her and she is exhausted when she comes home, in the best way. I would highly recommend Kristin for her professionalism, leadership, care and compassion.
