It's a…read morebeautiful thing to have one day when everyone in the world is possibly thinking about love in some way or another. I would be remiss if I didn't tell you how Cupid, who I affectionately call "Sweet Baby Jesus" made sure I was loved in a special way on Valentine's Day 2023. Okay...so, my day started out really rough because my transportation did not show up which caused me to have to drive myself to medical appointments at Saint Francis Healthcare in Cape Girardeau, MO. That's over an hour one-way from where I live in Illinois. When I got to my first appointment, the doctor was running late, so by the time I was supposed to be at my second appointment, I am way late. I REALLY needed to see that specialist for the second appointment, but I was late. Everything could have ended there. I could have been given an appointment for a month to two months out according to the schedule, and sent all the way back to Illinois having not seen who I desperately needed to see. Thank goodness for me that Sweet Baby Jesus Cupid was working overtime yesterday. When I tell you that the people of Saint Francis Healthcare, CARE! I'm ashamed to admit that I had a complete meltdown when I thought I would not be seen. I'm talking UGLY cry y'all. This was very personal for me: I was thinking about more time without medical treatment that I needed for months, plus that long drive home to think about not being seen. The devastation was real! The team at Saint Francis Healthcare listened and acted. Even though I was late due to another appointment, and they were fully booked, they went to work to see if there was anything they could do to help me be seen. That arrow shot through their hearts y'all! From Volunteer Director Theresa, who patiently and emphatically listened to me cry as I told her the situation, to Practice Manager Ann who ultimately worked with Dr. Thampi, Nurse Beth, and Front Desk Staffer Tisha to see if or when they could fit me in, everyone was willing to try, and that meant so much. I waited in a waiting room to see the outcome, praying that the appointment would be sooner than March. Little did I know that I was going to get more love than I expected from SFHC! Director Ann eventually came and told me that a patient had cancelled, and a spot was open for 12pm. Oh, and Ann was accompanied by VP of Regional Operations, Lisa Newcomer, who just happened to be walking around the hospital and decided to come with Ann. Let the love rain down on me! Who has favor? I do! I do! I started the day stormy, and ended it on cloud nine. Hello somebody! Dr. Thampi was an absolute joy to meet. He is thoughtful and thorough, and I know I am going to enjoy collaborating with him and his team for my healthcare needs. A hospital system whose VP of Operations is visible and accessible to patients is awesome. She was so friendly too! As for Saint Francis Healthcare in Cape Girardeau, MO, I got nothing but L.O.V.E. for them. If you have a medical need and select Saint Francis Healthcare, tell them Kindra Speech sent ya!

Can't give zero but I would if I could certain physicians of this facility seemed to really care…read moreand try hard and various departments are quite proficient at their job but overall this hospital including the emergency medical care at the emergency room is useless and more unsafe than helpful I spent 13 hours waiting in a chair with headaches dizziness and chest pain got to actual treatment area The solution for them was do a CT scan pump me for a morphine send me home and tell me that I need to get follow up with specialist because they didn't see enough reason for me to be admitted to the hospital for care. The hospital has got a new CEO in the last year and since then the only thing that this facility cares about is profit margin they don't care about people they don't care about patients they just want the money. They had a local facility in my town several miles from the main facility they announced in mid-december of 2025 that they had sold the facility with no prior notice to the physicians or the staff they told them they had 30 days The new owners would be taking over they might or might not have a job they forced the doctors out of being able to treat patients unless they went with the new company which didn't provide the same level of service or care or pay or benefits to its employees are support for physicians at the facility. For a so-called Christian hospital they don't seem to Christian and I noticed in the hospital there used to be several little statuettes of Jesus throughout the facility I've noticed several have been removed maybe that's because they don't want Jesus to see what kind of satanistic greedy people they've turned into because he sure wouldn't be approving of the level of behavior and care that they now provide and still try to pass themselves off as a caring Christian facility. Have used their Doctors and Hospital for over 20 years now but won't go back again now.​

I had a follow up call everyday for 3 days and was impressed with the level of communication. Only issue I had was I think the nurse didn't stick my IV very well as much as she messed with it and how long a 1/4 bag of IV took before I had enough. Julie was great though.

The technician reminded me of my mother, and I am 75 years old. The technician was so kind to me, careful in how she drew blood, and so good at her job, that I would willingly go to her every single day of the week for a blood draw if necessary. Where in the world did you find her? Do everything you can to keep her! That would be my ask. I'll tell you this, but I am sure you now know. I have used Quest Diagnostic my entire life when needed, and every visit has been outstanding. However, if there is a score above outstanding this lady deserves it. I thank you for having her serve us. There is no star rating high enough for her. I give her a 10 on a 10 point scale.

Her name was Cheryl she is a older lady in her late 50's maybe she called me Girl and I asked her not to call me that as I am 40 years of age. She she got offended that I asked her to not call me that. Then I requested a medication that she wanted to ignore until I told her, hold up and stop talking over me and listen please to my request as your patient. She didn't like that also, then as I am leaving she touched my shoulder like trying guide me out the office as I was already turned to go towards. I told her don't touch me and she got sassy as I walked out . Very Very unprofessional and rude and whispered outside my door and thought I was gonna to feel welcome and safe. My husband came in on Sunday because he believed he broke his ribs from coughing. He was very much in pain and in tears. we paid them cash and left with no help at all. he got his xray and then they had to wait up to 24 hours before they would see them. Obviously still in pain, we made an apt with his regular doc on Tuesday morning who instantly said that he had broke 2 ribs and gave him some medicine for pain. I just honestly can't believe how much he gave not a care in the world about my husband and looked as if be could care less about his pain. I would not recommend going here and avoiding Dr. HOFF!!!
