But when I got there on July 23, the room I was given was not the room I booked online!. The room price per night was $209, the room I was given - my goodness - I wouldn't have paid $209 per night! This room looked like $60 motel room! I was furious. I told the proprietor to return my money for false representation. Long story short, I left, I didn't even unpack. The pictures are true. My boyfriend was there from Monday to Wednesday, my son and I came out to stay Monday night into Tuesday and we left Tuesday night because I had a notary class the next day on July 30. I did love it here, my one issue was not enough parking. They only allowed one car per room to park on the property. I had so much stuff with me because I was not only packed for one night in Wildwood but packed for the next week without my son in case I ended up sleeping over anywhere. I usually don't sleep over anyone's house but my sister's but I always carry extra clothes on nights I won't have my son in case I end up being offered to sleep at a friend's house or something I'm prepared. So because of my issues with being prepared and having too much stuff when I found out I couldn't park at the hotel I had a mini heart attack on the inside. When I got to the hotel, I had to figure out what I needed and unload my car and than I ended up parking the car 3 blocks away. I am not sure if they can arrange more parking, I don't know if it's possible but it's the one gripe I have. The room my boyfriend, son and I stayed in had a king size bed. I bought a cot for my son to sleep on but my son ended up at the end of the bed because he didn't want to sleep in the cot, I ended up in the middle of the bed and my boyfriend ended up at the other end of the bed. The 3 of us fit lol. The room had a kitchenette. I love the rooms with the kitchenettes. I like to bring groceries with me on trips so I can save money on food out so anyplace that has a kitchenette I love. I bought regular coffee to brew and were dismayed to learn they had a keurig, if I knew that I would have bought some of my disposable k cups with me. It ended up being okay they had starbucks k cups that they provided and I was more than happy to drink that. They had a pretty nice pool. I didn't get to visit the beach but I heard they provided beach accessories. This hotel was also located at the end of the boardwalk and very close to it. I would stay here again if I were given a chance.

I think the perk of paying to stay at a hotel with a parking lot is not having to find street parking, so as paying customers we did not appreciate this. There are lots of hotels in Cape May so it can be a bit overwhelming to choose, but I would definitely keep Ocean Club in mind for a future stay.

You are here because of its amazing location. Because of COVID, we ordered take out for dinner, and it was such a pleasure to be able to eat comfortably in our room as an option. LOCATION: Located one minute's walk to Cove beach. Sunrise? You're a minute away. Sunset? You're a minute away. Want to go for a bike ride? I would definitely stay here again! When we arrived, we had to call for them to greet us in the drive way. Which was also our parking. I wore my mask at this time because I wasn't sure on policy and they put theirs on because I had mine on. (I guess NJ Iifted the mask mandate, but they respected me wearing mine. Which I thought was fantastic). We were then given a tour of the house and given the rules. They never bothered us, which I really appreciated. If we did need anything, all we had to do was text and/or call and they responded quickly. This place was very beautiful and welcoming. I just loved looking around and exploring. They have a super cute snack table with crackers, candy, and prepackaged granola bars/baked goods. They also had coffee and tea available in the dining room for most of the day. A communal mini fridge and microwave were provided for guests that were clean and well maintained. There are plenty of places to park as well if needed. And despite other people staying in separate rooms in this home, I still felt like I had my own space. Never once did I think it was too loud with other guests. There was also bikes, games, books and movies provided for guests to use and unfortunately the jacuzzi was still closed due to covid. We stayed in the Walt Whitman room. Located on the second floor. It was very small, but cozy. We had to make use of the dresser and closet for our clothes and things because we had to slide our luggage under the bed. Which wasn't a huge deal. There is a sink in the room which was strangely useful. The bed was very clean and comfortable. It had coverings on the mattress to keep it free of bugs and allergens. (I'm always checking for bed bugs. Had a bad experience once.) It was a double bed, but my partner and I had no issues. There is also some air conditioning and a ceiling fan and never got too warm. Off the room was this fantastic deck that we had our breakfast every morning and enjoyed our evenings on, settling down before bed. The bathroom is across the hall and it is a private bathroom. You could lock it and they provided a key. The bathroom was quite large with a beautiful claw foot tub. The shower was very powerful with the pressure and it was hard to not get the floor wet. I felt bad because of the gorgeous hard wood floors. Breakfast was absolutely INCREDIBLE everyday. I was always looking forward to what they whipped up for the morning. Now with covid, it was still all takeout. Which I didn't mind because I'm not a social butterfly and enjoyed the privacy. They should keep this option. But the dishes ranged from freshly made breakfast sandwiches and burritos to stuffed French toast. It was all delicious! Orange juice, fruit cups, and some sort of soft, warm, and luscious pastry was also included. Again, I would 100% stay here again. Natalie and Todd were excellent hosts and super friendly.
