The roof that was replaced was two layers, and when it was replaced with one layer, that left an inch or so gap between the shingles and and chimney, which they failed to seal and also failed to install proper flashing so that water would drain away from the chimney. Ace repaired the issue and their price was very reasonable. Recently, I noticed paint cracking and dampness in a ceiling. I called the company that installed the roof-as it is nearing the end of the warranty. They sent someone who said he saw nothing wrong, and claimed they might need better ventilation. He said someone would call. No one did. I called Ace, he went up and saw the source of the problem, a bullet hole-likely there from someone's errant New Year's celebration. He fixed the issue within 15 minutes. Ace is responsive, and most important, he acts with integrity and his assessments are credible. Irrespective of 'warranties,' I trust him and will always call him first.

Also, while completing the project, I called in numerous times to complain, I would have people come out at the end, but after several services calls and nothing accomplished, I finally stopped fighting and said I would leave a review. The guy I tried to talk to on the job site was belligerent and would not stop using my property when asked to do so. I probably had every right to call authorities. I will report them to the appropriate consumer watch dog agency. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

The total pool room area has 2500 square feet of concrete. That is a lot of concrete slab that has sunk, tilted and cracked in the 40 years since we built it new. We feared that we would have to have it broken up, removed and replaced at an enormous cost. We decided to call B-Level. The phone was answered very professionally and courteous. The company owner visited our house within a short time and also was very professional, courteous and really knew what he was talking about and what we needed to correct the problem. I usually get at least three quotes when spending on a project this big. The owner gave me a verbal estimate while here to be followed up with an exact written quote. We were very pleasantly surprised with the super economical cost to fix our concrete rather than replace it. When the written quote/contract arrived it matched what the owner told us verbally. The work was done and our concrete looks wonderful. The workmen were top notch. B-Level saved our concrete and a bundle of our cash for us to use in other areas. Sid was our contact and directly supervised the work. He gave an accurate ballpark quote and was very thorough in explaining the issues and kept us up to date on the progress of work via text messages, periodic calls, and photos. Unfortunately, the job opened up some major surprises with the drain tile around the foundation as well as rotted floor structure around the chimney chase that was dumping water into the basement due to water infiltration. Sid's crew did an excellent job repairing the rotted structure in the basement that had rotted away. While this was a very expensive repair, however I highly recommend Sid and his guys. They do quality work and get it done quick. They also had good recommendations for other contractors that we need to complete the exterior work related to the structural issues (see pic below). Sid will also work with you (within reason) if you have minor changes to the work being done. We had a separate plumber (per Sid's recommendation) add rough-in plumbing for a future bathroom after J&J broke up sections of the concrete floor to replace the weeping tile. Some more than 5K for a 100 foot drain line. When I contacted A+ for an estimate, they beat the nearest estimate by almost $1500 dollars. That's a big savings. What's the difference? The other companies who bid the job showed up in fancy jumpsuits and vinyl laminate work vans with computers inside. The guys from A+ showed up in tshirts and a red station wagon. They were polite, worked very hard, and had the job completed in two days which is what I was estimated. They also showed up to start the job within 1 business days of OUPS flagging the utilities on our property before the dig. I would recommend A+ for anyone looking for quality work at a great price. The deterioration has continued to spread, and sections of the driveway now look significantly aged despite regular care and no unusual usage. I contacted the company multiple times in 2025 and 2026 to discuss the excessive cracking and chipping and to ask about possible repair options or warranty coverage. Unfortunately, the responses I received did not resolve the issue, and the condition of the driveway continues to worsen. Their only response was to tell me to apply another sealer coat. This will not stop the chipping which is occurring from underneath the surface due to insufficient bonding agent.
