You can use the Bluetooth for the speakers on the boat. There are cushioned seats and a table in the middle which makes it nice for holding drinks. It's fun and you can have multiple people onboard. I plan to do this again! I went with a friend but I definitely want to do this again with a group. Happy this finally came to Baltimore and i think its better pricing than renting a full character.

Unfortunately, my experience did not live up to those expectations. Our tour director, was friendly and clearly tried her best, but she was not adequately prepared for the assignment. She had never been to Amsterdam or Brussels and had very little time to prepare. As a result, there were numerous logistical issues, and a noticeable lack of the professionalism and polish typically expected on a premium tour. It seemed clear that she would have benefited greatly from more mentoring and support before leading a group on her own. The local guides were a mixed experience. Our private guide in Amsterdam, was a standout! Unfortunately, the guides in Brussels and Ghent were far less effective. In Ghent, many people left the tour early as the guide was hard to understand and the content itself felt disorganized and uninspired. Accommodations also fell short of expectations. At our hotel in Amsterdam, guests were responsible for transporting their own luggage-- up and down stairs- a surprising inconvenience for what was billed as a higher-end tour. More troubling was what happened when my travel companion received the devastating news that her brother had passed away. In the chaos of departing our hotel and her receiving the news, her luggage was left behind in the hotel lobby. Rather than the company stepping in to help manage the situation, the responsibility of recovering the luggage fell entirely on us. I spent several hours coordinating with the hotel, DHL, UPS, and our next hotel in Bruges. Eventually, we resolved the issue with no help from Sights and Soul and no compensation for the $700-fee it cost even though the company said procedure was not followed by the tour guide. This was not the level of care or support I would expect from a company of S&S's standing. I was initially hesitant to post this review, especially since others on the trip said this was not typical of their past experiences with S&S. However, I decided to share this feedback and let you make an informed decision when choosing something as important as a reliable and reputable tour company.

And I have to say that was the best ghost tour I have ever been in outside of Gettysburg, it has to rank as the second best ghost tour, it was so amazing and so much fun and the tour guide was excellent, he told stories of ghosts and historical information it was THE most interesting tour I have been on since Gettysburg, I ABSOLUTELY recommending you just have to go on this tour, you may or may not see a ghost or capture anything on a camera but the guide is EXCELLENT!! This tour gives you some insight into life in Alexandria during that time and takes you around to the notable sights in the show. I learned quite a bit about my city back 150 years ago. I had walked all the streets many times before, but was able to see it all in a new light. The tour picked up at the visitor center and winds through a few blocks of Old Town. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and welcomed questions about the time period. It was a very affordable, enjoyable walking tour. I totally recommend it for people of all ages.
