About a year later, I met with of Dr Bauer. I met with him a few times before the surgery and for follow up. Surgery went well. Recovery went well. I did have some difficulties. He continued to work with me until everything was good. The receptionist at the front desk knew me, his nurse knew me and he knew me. And THAT is the difference between a small practice and the medical factories. Things have been so good, I haven't had a reason to see him anymore. I recently required knee surgery. Ended up back at one of the big orthopedic practices. It reminded me of why I ended up with Dr. Bauer in the first place. I have started to look at small medical practices like small businesses. We need to shop there to keep them in business.

Each time a procedure was done, I have never felt any pain during the process and have always healed quickly without issues. He also has good "bedside" manners and a great conversationalist besides a friendly staff. I would definitely recommend Dr. Romaine.

I had been having shoulder pain for several months. Shoulders are one of his specialties I was taken exactly on time for my appointment - which in itself I found to be amazing. Dr. Zimmerman was polite and did a thorough exam and diagnosed the cause. He recommended a steroid shot and I agreed. Three weeks late my shoulder pain is gone. His skill was obvious and he was great at actually listening. I highly recommend Dr. Zimmerman to anyone having shoulder issues. Dr Pandya's primary office is in Troy and reviews were positive. I was pleased to learn he was on Rt 146 and very close to my location. He was pleasant, spent time with me and agreed with me that despite my bunions and pain I was not a surgical candidate. He ordered an x-ray which showed nothing serious, addressed the foot pain and steps to take with proper shoes. He was attentive and professional and his staff as well. I highly recommend this physician and his office.

Dr Rosenbaum recently removed a plate and screws that had been implanted in my ankle after I broke…read moremy fibula last year. The plate and screws had become quite painful and were causing significant irritation. Dr. Rosenbaum explained the procedure to me ahead of time and, due to the extent of the surgery, it was thought that I would be unable to walk on that leg for at least 2 weeks. When I had the plate and screws implanted a year ago (by a different surgeon) I was unable to walk on it for 6 weeks which, for me, was torture so I was not looking forward to being out of commission again even if the duration would be 1/3 of the time of the prior surgery. I showed up at the surgery center where everyone I encountered was extremely friendly. The surgery began ( I was given general anesthesia so I was asleep). I awoke to find that Dr. Rosenbaum had used a different technique than originally planned and the surgery was actually less invasive than planned. Thanks to the skill of Dr. Rosenbaum, and his willingness to alter the plan, the incisions were smaller that the one larger one I had expected an, because of that, I was able to walk on my leg the next day! I highly recommend Dr. Rosenbaum not only for his obvious skills but also for his flexibility in doing what is best for the patient. Hopefully you will never need foot/ankle surgery but if you do Dr. Rosenbaum is the doctor to see!
