He makes you feel very at ease and listens very closely to your concerns. He is a very skilled doctor and very caring. He took me to his computer screen and showed me my knee. He explained everything about my knee in detail and told me exactly what I was looking at, which was great because after 3-4 months of seeing other doctors, having x-rays, MRIs, Urgent Care's, I really hadn't seen this before. I have a torn meniscus, a torn ACL which is pretty much useless 2 fractures and a Baker's cyst. He made sure I was out of pain and we discussed a plan of action. He did not rush me, and this is one of the main complaints I have about almost all doctors nowadays. He is from the old school and a master at his profession. I highly recommend him.

He is an orthopedic surgeon...and quite the "mechanic". But...he's also personable, kind and has a great sense of humor. I was referred to Dr. Nate by someone at the gym. My first appointment was very thorough. He asked a ton of questions, did an X-ray, an adjustment and a massage. He also told me he was a nutritionist and if I ever had any questions to feel free to ask. I was given an ice pack and some bio freeze and told to come back for my results in a day or two. I mentioned how I wasn't sure if I could I would have to figure a babysitter out and then make an appointment. He said bring them. You'll be in and out and I would rather take care of your back and get you up and running again then to have you miss an appointment. I was a little apprehensive about bringing 3 small children ages 2,3,and 6 into my appointment but Dr. Nate was so good with them. He showed them what he was doing, he had them check my feet. He really made me so relaxed having them there because honestly I was waiting for it to be an awful idea. I have brought them in plenty times since and I am feeling better than I have in a while. I also love the little gifts I get in the mail every once in a while. To make a long story even longer, I would recommend Dr. Nate to anyone that is in a lot pain or just wants maintenance appointments to keep your body well adjusted and performing like it should.

My two therapists, Erin and Beth are AWESOME individuals to work with. I would highly recommend them. I mentioned to Beth once I had some discomfort and she investigated and found some excessive scar tissue building up and focused on reducing it prior to treatment beginning each week for about 10 minutes. I feel within the year I will be feeling better than I was prior to surgery. I can say you must go to all your appointments and work at home on the days you don't go to the facility for therapy. If you're not going to put in the work, don't bother having surgery and wasting their time. Thank you ladies for everything! You're the best!

Each time a procedure was done, I have never felt any pain during the process and have always healed quickly without issues. He also has good "bedside" manners and a great conversationalist besides a friendly staff. I would definitely recommend Dr. Romaine.
