Engine sensor went on brand new Edge I had for four months, was told to keep driving it there was no damage being done to the motor, that's why the service engine light was on!!! Was told the part would be in, in a week no follow up a month later! Finally a follow up by service advising the part was pulled out of production, it would be "a while" for the part when asked to define "a while" was told a week , six months didn't have an answer. Again asked the damage to the engine, was told none and not to worry as the service light hadn't been back on??!! REALLY,!! I may be a woman but come on, no damage?? Are you serious?? Nice attitude! Murphys Law, service engine light on that weekend, engine sluggish, not until I called my salesman Jim Delfs who is the BEST SALESMAN AT CAPITAL FORD did anything get done. I was out if a car I was not longer comfortable driving the next day. Service Dept still poor attitude when asked how long, "when Ford is told there is a unit down they may speed it up".........really!! Still the week to six month time frame! While there also had my windshield replaced as it had been hit by a boulder on the Ring Rd (thank you Dodge Ram truck :( Today, 19 days later from somewhere the sensor was replaced no one knows where when I asked I got the Darcy your advisor is on holidays blah blah. My windshield was also replaced while it sat there for 19 days!!!!!!!!!! One would think having my Edge for almost 1/6 the time I have had it they might have said for the inconvenience let's clean it up (not that it was filthy by any stretch) before we give it back, yeah no! Instead I wiped up the water spots inside where it leaked water the first time the windshield didn't seal properly and the quick wash the outside got, I wouldn't have bothered looking at the back window they missed half (p.s. there are two halves to the window!) Thank goodness Jim is there or Bennett would be a very amazing option right now!!!! read more

This place is garbage, they act like you're friends until they sell you something and then they just care about keeping your money. I just bought a volkswagon and spent a pretty penny on it, within a day the check engine light is on and has engine problems. I got the extended warranty so they did offer to fix it, however I did not want to keep something that has engine problems after one day... they said they could exchange it, but everything in there didn't appeal to me. So now I have a car with engine problems that I just spent thousands on with no chance of a return and nothing on the lot that I will be satisfied with. They were my friends till I asked for my money back, then they showed who they truly were. Don't go to this place. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ! I purchased a used truck from them back in October 2015. The sales manager was not good to deal with, Jeff Longley. There were three problems that needed attention, but only one was addressed promptly and repaired. One problem was deemed "cosmetic" and they claimed couldn't be fixed, but the most important item was a dented rear bumper that was so bad it rubbed against the tailgate when it was opened. It took nearly 6 months for a repair to be made, and after 6 months of damage to the tailgate (from neglect of the bumper), Captial Ford refused to make those repairs and believed they did more than what was expected/necessary of them. The dealership is huge and has a great feel to it, the floors are clean and everybody is always smiling and ready to greet you. I like how the used is separated from the new vehicles and has its own building. the lot always looks full on both used and new which gives you the feeling that you'll have lots of choices. Working with the used sales team was awesome! Craig Livingston and Vyas Parikshit made sure I received the vehicle "That I wanted to buy" not the vehicle they wanted to sell me. For the past 8 yrs I have been taking Super Duty service trucks and my own F350 to the heavy truck service department at Capital Ford and have received incredible customer service considering I had never purchased one here. I felt that if the service was that good for someone who had never bought one here it could only get better. The sale experience was better than could be expected. My experience of my first ever car purchase through a dealership was okay, besides the fact that when i found the car online it was listed as having 80,000 km when i arrived and took it for a test drive i found out it was an American car and was in miles. So I questioned them about the difference and all they did was take $500 off the price lol. That is a 50,000km difference just seems a little unfair. Also Raphy was a little hard to understand, but the staff all seemed nice thats the only reason i give it 3 stars, If the staff sucked easily the worst experience i would have had. read more

Service was good, but did not fix our problem. We have a brand new Escape bought end of August and have nothing but electrical sensor problems. We are not impressed and we live 2 hours away so each time we come in for them to try something, we add km's which we would not be putting on our Escape. It seems that no one really cares especially the manager and our sales man. They should know what happening and should be trying their best in getting to the bottom, or offering us a new Escape as this one is defefintly a lemon. read more

Be aware of Fords 3 year 60000 bumper to bumper warranty, I have a 2013 f150 bought new ,no kms in Jan 2014. I have 40000 km on it now, which is 30 months since I took it off the lot. I was told by Ford that my truck was first serviced in April 2013 and that is the day the warranty starts. So much for have 3 year warranty from date of purchase. read more

Getting my 2011 Fusion was easy! The dealer helped me with my down payment, and never hassled me whatsoever! The only problem was that my car had a tonne of minor issues, like the bumper was falling off, lots of previous dents, the tires were very flat, and the rims were bent slightly. My car had a wire unplugged and was fixed in less than an hour. I asked them to fixed a sensor that was faulty and they reset it but as soon as I drove away it came back on. I feel like I wasted my money considering if I want it fixed I have to go back for the same thing that they were already suppose to fix. read more
