I have been saying for 3 years and will say again, this is perhaps the worst company I have ever dealt with. I purchased a cart approx 3 years ago, was told the batteries were new, only to find out they were very old. I contacted the company and was told they had new owners and that they could help me, now I am still waiting for that to happen. I contacted Capital Golf Carts of Largo last week and made arangments for my cart to be picked up for service on Wednesday of the following week. At 10am on Wednesday I called and asked when the cart would be picked up and was told before noon and the driver would call and let me know when he would be there. It is after 12pm and the cart is still here. I called and told the company that I would not deal with them again and at 12.11 the driver called and said someone said I wanted to know when he would pick up the cart. 1 star is not low enough to describe my experience. I walked into their main office in Palm Harbor, looking to replace batteries for my ezgo. I spoke with the owner, he is an older guy called Gene, he was short and seemed annoyed, he stated that he has a battery maintenance system that would facilitate the maintenance on these batteries, he recommended his techs install it themselves for a small fee, I agreed. They picked up my ezgo, and i was told i would receive a phone call once it was completed, they offered to do a full inspection for free since the cart was in their shop. I called them the next day and they said that its $550 for the 2 batteries, the maintenance kit and the inspection!. I was surprised of the amount, then they said they would put the owner on the line, a lady gets on the phone and start trying to hassle me stating that my ezgo was very old and i should upgrade to a newer model, they offered me $800 for my cart, they stated that it was a piece of junk, that it was a miracle that it was still working in the condition it was in. My Father in law bought this cart from them just 2 years prior, he passed away but i had the invoice from them dated 04/08/15. He bought it used and he hardly used it, and much less after his stroke, I was appalled by the tactics used in this company, I also learned that the proprietary batteries they offer are B class from another Manufacturer, they just put their own labels on it and sell them as top brand, good luck with getting over 12 months on these batteries, Gene and his wife/girlfriend are very dishonest. I paid the bill but they will never get my business again, avoid them, as far as I know they have 2 other offices, I guess they are the same or even worse. The girlfriend talks down to the customers and Gene says he was some bigshot for a tire company, he even treats his employees as dirt. Avoid. There are other honest businesses in the area. read more

Called to have my cart picked up for service they cancelled due to the mechanic needing surgery... I rescheduled a week later, they cancelled due to the truck needing mechanical work.. I rescheduled for a THIRD time last Sat, they are supposed be here to get it at 10 am.. It is now 10:30 and I haven't heard a word from them and when I tried calling I was put hold with no end.. Now they aren't answering ... Don't use this rinky dink golf cart shop.. I would give them zero stars if I could as they have done zero for me! read more

I originally purchased my cart through these guys. I've recommended them to everyone that ask where I got my cool cart. But that will change. I've been needing to purchase new batteries and do some upgrading so I was pleasantly surprised when I was quoted $85 per battery and free pick-up and delivery. When I arrived at the shop I was told the price quoted was incorrect ant that the person quoting the price was new. My new price would be $125 per battery and $25 for pick up and delivery. I sucked it up and said yes. I was then quoted $50 for a used seat bottom for my rear seat. I had high hopes for these guys thinking they would be up front and honest. I guess I will continue looking for the shop that has good service and good prices. Just got my bill and they forgot to tell me there was an extra charge for installing the batteries. They had even told me "no hidden cost" so the $40 installation fee, the Florida battery tax at $14 and the $8 battery disposal cost doesn't count. Complete BS. Buyer be warned! read more
