I had taken my car in for an oil change and a tire rotation, and they found a nail in one of my tires. So I called this company to ask them if they did tires for regular cars or just truck tires because they're advertisement look like they primarily did truck tires, and the gentleman on the phone said to go ahead and bring it right in however when I got here I was told that there was absolutely no way that they could get to it today. I am so happy for them that they're busy, but to tell me to go ahead and bring it in, and then tell me there's absolutely no way that they could get to it today, and I could leave the car overnight or drop it off in the morning and then get to it sometime tomorrow. I'm sure this is a wonderful business, that's why they're so busy, but if somebody actually calls you and you tell them to come right in then you ought to be prepared to do business with them that day. read more

I brought my truck in to this business to get an alignment, I paid close to $100 for them to do absolutely nothing. my truck was back in the service side for only 20 minutes. The sheet i got afterwards had ZERO differences. My brother works at R&R tire in largo ( highly recommend) and when i brought it in they were surprised that a company would charge you all that to do literally nothing. Worst place to buys tires. Not because of the price but because of the service after you pay and drive off. The 50k tires they recommended and sold me lasted 1 year and 8 months and total of 12k miles (6k miles/year). I took it back because one of driver front tire had separated and was told that there wouldn't bee much credit given for the tires because they were at their "wear marks". A 50k tire had reach it's wear mark and separated after 12,000 miles. The salesperson kept calling me honey and sweetie while he was trying to explain to me how this was my fault. This did not go over will with me. If you value your safety when buying tires I don't recommend you buy them here. They sell low quality tires that don't last and don't stand behind the warranty. read more

I was told that my car repairs would be completed Friday and that the car parts would be in at that time. I was told that the car would take 3 hours to fix. After 3 hours, I enquired about the car. I was told that they were waiting on on a part from the dealer. I had to call the dealer myself to find about where the part was. It took 7 hours to get my car back, They were supposed to rotate my tires too and did not. The dealer told me that I needed one oil gasket. I was told by these people that I needed 3 gaskets total. . My family has gone to this facility for years and has been happy with them. I recommended them for years. Well not anymore! I was very disappointed in the customer service today. read more

You will be amazed at the work they are capable of doing and at a very reasonable price. They are up to speed with modern computer diagnostics. I have a late model German sport convertible and I've never asked them a question or needed a job done they couldn't do--at half the cost of the dealer or a specialized German auto repair. If you know me, you know I am no longer giving 5 stars unless the establishment is TRULY EXCEPTIONAL. THIS IS A FIVE-STAR FACILITY. Mike and Charlie are 5-Star men. First off, you have Mike and Charlie. A father and son dynamic duo from back when young men had rock-band hair, and fathers probably wishes young men would get more haircuts. I first met Charlie in 2002 when he helped me keep my piece-o-crap 1983 Cadillac Eldorado running. I couldn't afford a new car, and Charlie did what it took to keep me running. Best of all, even then, they charged me next to nothing. I continued using BT&M over the years, always with the same results. Mike and Charlies giving me GOOD advice, a great value, and true expertise in automotive repair. I recall a recent (circa 2015) repair of a Chevy Equinox, which GM quoted as a $1500+ repair. I immediately halted the repair and took the SUV to Mike. They put the vehicle on the computer and we learned that the WRONG battery had been installed on the last battery change. These SUV's being VERY voltage sensitive, the wrong battery caused the Equinox's computer to throw multiple error codes. New battery, all error-codes cleared, no more problems. Cost for the repair? Nothing. Zero. Zilch. Mike said he couldn't accept any thing for a 1 minute diagnosis. I WAS STUNNED. Who has ever heard of a repair shop doing something for free? Well, that is what Mike and Charlie are made of... Honor, Integrity, Honesty, and Kindness. I hope that over the years I have made their goodwill worthwhile, as I bring back ALL of my cars to BT&M. I send all of my friends here. I advise everyone "if you need an honest deal, you need Mike at BT&M". Even now, nearly 15 years later, I am greeted as a long lost friend. I get honest advice, competent and efficient repairs, and someone who I do not need to question about the repair. Anyway, what more can I say without just simply going overboard? I'm from out of state so a little nervous trying a new place. Came in thinking I needed brakes and oil change, they told me I was actually good on my brake pads and just did the full synthetic oil change for about $70 which is cheaper than the Take 5 down the street. They could have easily replaced the brakes and charged me anyway so that builds a lot of trust. They also balanced my tires and I'm driving smoothly now. Amazing staff! Last month I had a nail in my tire. I called to get pricing & see when they could fit me in because my dad was in the hospital & I couldn't be without a car for long. I brought my car in right away & right after they started working on my tire the hospital called & said I needed to get there right away as they were taking my dad into ICU. I told the gentleman at the desk what was happening & they got my tire done in 10 mins, not to worry about the cost & just go be with my dad. A month later, my tire is fixed, I've had no issues. I went back today to pay them & the same gentleman asked how my dad was. I told him my father passed away, he told me have a merry Christmas, it's on the house. When I got back on my car I just burst into tears. Simple acts of kindness like this are what makes a family run business so special. I will not be bringing any future tire issues anywhere else. This is an honest shop. I had knock sensors replaced on my Tahoe prior to driving out of state for work. My trouble code indicates they were still having an issue. I called Mark and he suggested I go to an affiliated shop on Minnesota where I was located. They found an issue with the wiring to the knock sensors there, and Big Tires payed for the repair without hesitation. I am very pleased and recommend them without reservation.
