    Chicken Kabob
    Eric L.

Food: Plentiful! I could have shared this meal with my partner. She doesn't eat much but two kabobs is a little much for me. I finished it, but it was a struggle towards the end. It came with two rices, a salad, falafel and two sauces. The falafel came out late. The falafel was hard in some areas and came out a little too early. Ive been to some places where the bread was fresh! This was still good, just not the best. I like that you could see all the kabobs raw when you walk in. Photos of chicken provided! Ambience: Originally I thought it looked cheap and gody, but the place grew on me. They had futbol playing and the chairs were comfortable. Also helped that everything felt clean and the bathrooms were clean. The place was packed when we entered! 5 cops, 3 customers, and 1 Uber driver to go. We were eating there, so we went to the back room. Bathroom: Shockingly clean! I did not expect this from a late nite place like this. Well maintained and taken care of. Final thoughts: If they had beef kabobs I would have given it 5 stars. Service was good, server was attentive and helpful. The food was good, just wanted more variety because I don't like lamb. I'm not a burger guy, seems weird but I hope someone else's that likes them tries it.

I got a takeaway from capital kebab tonight for dinner and it was amazing. I got a falafel burger, chips and can of coke for £3.90. I think I bought a hot chocolate for the same price today in starbucks! The food was brilliant, exactly what I wanted. The burger ad loads of salad and sauces on it and the chips were thin and crispy. The guys who work there are lovely too, they didn't bat an eyelid as I requested unusual combinations of toppings on my burger and were really friendly. The menu is pretty typical for a takeaway; kebabs, burgers nuggets & chips. I noticed though that I was the only person in line that wasn't a regular, the men behind the counter knew everyone else's order off by heart. I'm not surprised, soon they'll know my "usual" too.

I love a good kebab so that's my go to place for lunch time takeaway when we fancy something less healthy. The meat is juicy and the flavours mix beautifully in the wrap. The chips are good as well, plenty of salt just like I like them. I recommend you go drinking in the area and then get a kebab on your way back. Also try the lamb doner wrap.

Delicious schwarma, both lamb and chicken here. The chicken was lean and well seasoned, and the lamb was sliced thin and crispy. And good chips too, which was almost unnecessary since the portions were so large. It was one of the most satisfying meals we had in London this trip. The stuffed grape leaves came on a tray with mixed salads and hummus. And they give you two sauces to add to the meats, one garlicky and creamy and the other spicy chili. The pitas were thin and fresh, served hot. Prices were about 5 - 7 pounds for for a meal, and really could almost feed 2 people...

The employee of this shop is very rude man.He doesn't know how to entertain the customer. He speaks very roughly.

This place certainly doesn't look like much - but if you find yourself near the Southwark tube station it's well worth a stop.

The restaurant is basically located in a converted railway tunnel which adds to the charm. I selected the lunch menu. Despite the items being extrmely hard to pronounce I managed to order a starter and a main. The starter was a calamari rings in batter with a sweet chilli dressing followed by an adequate main of 4 chicken patties with bulgerwheat and salad. Very tasty, good portion and quality. This is definitely one to try again. The lamb shank looked good from what others ordered and I'll be trying that.

It's self-service with all mezze dishes on display behind a massive glass counter. I can't remember exactly how much they charged for a selection of four salad items, but the portions were very generous and good value. Mind you I wasn't as impressed as I have been at TAS proper (they belong to the same group). The tzatziki and grilled aubergines were rather bland. I was impressed by the freshness of the parsley salad though and felt I was eating healthy food. EV is located under some railway arches and has the ambience of a generic self-service buffet restaurant - the type you get at National Trust properties. It somewhat lacks in atmosphere, even though the turquoise chandeliers add a touch of class. In summary: more of a quick lunch fix than a destination for a good night out.
