The planning process between quotes and getting on the schedule took longer than was originally discussed (that's fine, I get it). When I asked for a quote/contract with the price and a COI, I was told it wouldn't be an issue, but never received either. We still communicated up to the day before the work was to be done. My wife and I both took the day off from work that day to be on the property when the job was being performed. Morning of, they didn't show, when I called and texted asking if we were still on for the day, the response I received was vague, that they had an equipment issue, but no word on whether the job was still going to be able to done, or if it needed to be rescheduled. I never heard from them again, that day or after. This was after repeated attempts to get into contact with them that day and the week after (calling and text). Approximately a week and a half after we were ghosted, a major portion of the tree did split and fell into our neighborhood across a road (no one hurt thankfully). Thanks Old Dominion Tree Company. I don't care about wasting my time, but you genuinely put others at risk of injury or worse. Enjoy your bad karma.

Mine was the first house they came to. I had a large pine tree fall on top of my car, as well as a huge oak tree fall from my neighbor's yard into mine, crushing my shed. Jeremiah and his crew got to work right away, even though they had just driven up from the Richmond area. They were very respectful of me, my property, and my neighbor's property as well. The cleanup of my yard took more than one day, and I couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about the guys. They put their lives on hold to come up and help us after the worst disaster we have been through in a long time, not knowing the working and living conditions they were going to face when they arrived. My insurance company is Nationwide Insurance, and Old Dominion was recommended to me as they are a Nationwide authorized contractor. Now I know why. The honesty, integrity and professionalism the guys showed was second to none. I will admit they were not the cheapest estimate that I received, BUT you cannot get this quality of work for any less! He was even considerate of my landscaping and kept all trucks off my yard, and cleaned up all branches and debri and my yard was spotless afterwards. Excellent job!

I was home during the treatment and I kept waiting for the high cost treatment to continue...nope just a quick spray to the base of the tree and off he went. When I gave them a bad review on Google, the owner responded with a very condescending and blame shifting remark. If you have aphids, do some research. With a small investment in equipment (sprayer, PPE) you can easily do it yourself and save $$$!
