An consult was scheduled and she arrived on time. We went over the things I was looking for, weeding some beds that have been neglected due to an injury I was recovering from and couldn't do myself until fully healed. She was pleasant to talk to and she said that my request was something that she was able and willing to help me with. She requested my email which I sent to her via text which was her request, so that she could send me an estimate. She said that if I accept great but that if I chose to reject her estimate, that there was no obligation for me to reply to the estimate naturally. Now that I have sent her 2 replies via text per her request in the 2 weeks following her consult appointment we had, she has failed to even reply by sending me her estimate she said she'd send me. This appears to be her reneging and deciding to not help me out after all despite what she told me in person. No word from her establishing this assumption which is unprofessional to say the least. I would not recommend this company as they give you misleading information and lack the intestinal fortitude to do the right thing or follow thru with their word.

I have completed 1 year of full yard maintenance with The Ground Guys. I also engaged them to install mulch and prep the beds as an added fee. They subcontract the irrigation services, and that company was very good, identifying where previously the system had damage that was not identified by my previous service company (extra fee for the repairs). They worked with me as well to adjust the watering setup to preserve new plantings. The GG's services were delivered like clockwork. They are very efficient and complete in all they do. When blowing debris for clean up, my wife was especially pleased that they blew leaves off of our back deck! That was a plus! Since I work from home, I was aware of their comings and goings and the work was always done well. When I had questions, the crew was very responsive to me and contacted the main office when there was some confusion about a schedule that was worked out very nicely. I see the cost of this service as very similar to and competitive with regular HOA costs for "full service" condo or townhouse subdivisions, but this is performed on my 1/4 acre lot. I find great value in this service from The Ground Guys and plan to renew my contract.
