Honestly, I was a bit sad that I didn't give Wellington enough time on our trip through Australia/New Zealand. It was our last stop and we were so tired on our drive that we didn't get to explore it enough. But I was glad that I found this gem. We were walking around and we smelled the aroma from this area. It's a giant food court. They have all kinds of asian foods from Vietnamese to Thai and everything in between. The prices were fair and food was being cooked in front of your eyes. read more

This is a must-visit local place to experience authentic food. I was impressed at the variety of Asian food, but the downside is that it really does have the quality of a food court. I wasn't sure if the tackiness was a part of the design or lack of care. Would definitely come back and take people here for the vibe, but eating here feels optional. read more
This was one of my favorite places in Wellington. It is a pretty large open food court, it's covered, it's heated, and it has restrooms! Prices are some of the best around town for food, and it's the perfect place to stop by with a group of people with different food preferences. It's mostly got Asian, Indian, and Mediterranean food, and they are open fairly late. Also, it seems like most places give LARGE portions. Two thumbs up! Tip: Bring cash! Most vendors only take cash. read more

Could NOT finish my meal but it was the most delicious Freshly made in front of us and delivered to our table. Naan bread was bigger than my head. FULL of flavour. read more
A local favorite. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of this food court experience (birds everywhere, trash on the ground) but there is a good selection and it's a great option when going out with a group. The bibimbap is quite good and they give huge portions. read more

Being an old hand in Welly, I've tried much of what it has to offer, it's pretty hard to go wrong here to be fair. The capital market is somewhere I had wrongfully overlooked. Finding myself staying over the road from it for a week though, I found myself eating here every day! Crazy good variety of Asian (Thai, Chinese, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Korean, Filipino) Asian fusion (mexican), Indian, Armenian, Italian... probably missed something. Highlights are definitely Noodle Man, Quiquiriqui (crazy good jalapeno poppers) and Where's Charlie?, But I still have more to try! A million dairy free, gluten free and vege options from most of the places too which made my daughter's happy. Cheap, awesome tasty goodness with flavour up the wazoo. Miss it at your peril! read more

Massive food court that contains Vietnamese, Thai, Armenian, Sri Lankan, Indian, lebanese, chinese and Korean food. It even has a bar. Lots of seating. You can even go here for a coffee and some raw desserts. Prices range from 4-15 dollars. Portion sizes are good. The Armenian food looked really good and so did the Korean pancakes. Carving some greasy Indian, I made a beeline for the Indian stall for some chole bhature (chickpea curry with fried bread). The bread was freshly made and the fish satisfied my craving. :) You can see some of the same proprietors at the Wellington night markets. read more
