Staff were immediately available, acknowledged me and directed me to a teller that involved a brief wait. Angie (teller) and Sebastian (customer service rep) were both warm, friendly, upbeat, and helpful. I was shown how to add my debit card to my banking app for digital transactions as well as how to use it at the inside ATM. I'm so behind on technology but I appreciate being proactively offered. While the wait is very long for a Friday afternoon, the customer associate representative was able to help me fill out my documents and notarized it in a very promptly manner. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to pay a fee to get my document notarized (especially since my bank charges for the service.) The staff were very professional and supportive and I was able to get what I needed done. I would come back in the future for the great customer service and wide range of services they provide.

One time I was able to schedule an appointment with a bank officer only to have her call me about 30 minutes beforehand and tell me she was working from home so she would not make the appointment. The space is dismal, depressing, and icky. It feels like a dank fluorescent-lit cave. And Wells Fargo is always the bank in the news being forced to pay fines for misconduct and for abusing their customers. Their rates are significantly better than local commercial banks but not as good as internet banks (such as Discover or CapitalOne). (2) competent and friendly customer service, both for loans, as well as for walk-up teller services. (3) good attention to security of my banking accounts. (4) some financial education programs. Areas for improvement include: increasing the functionality of their website, lowering fees of some services (such as international wires), and offering higher savings rates that better compete with internet banks.

While I'm at least not being charged fees for everything, their service leaves much to be desired. For starters, they have no online bill pay. This is such a basic service that it didn't occur to me to ask if they had it before opening the account. I can't even been able use the minimal "online banking" services they do have to check my balance, etc. I've made two requests for a log-in, but have received no reply at all. Their in-person service is slow & indifferent. I'm rather baffled as to how they stay in business.
