The people working there were clearly just trying to keep up with huge demand, so I don't blame them... but this is clearly a sign of poor management/resourcing. Is the trend to close banks and cut staff to bare bones? The one lady had to run out at like 4:30 saying she hadn't gotten lunch yet--- it looked like she was about to pass out from hyperglycemia. WTF?? Where was a manager to help? Why were people just avoiding eye contact with the frustrated group of us? Never ever going back here. And seriously considering switching to another bank entirely. The tellers I know have helped me out whenever needed, including accidental overdraws, transfers over the phone, and all sorts of problems. Understand that, while I marked this place as the bank I use, I never use their primary office on Sunnyside. Instead, I use the office on Route 1 in Building 003. That office has only a single teller, limited parking, and you have to sign in with a security guard. However, this office never fails me and the main teller (Barbara) is the best teller I have ever had. If you work for USDA-BARC or are a relative, then I cannot emphasize how great this credit union is.

PGCFCU just merged with the greenbelt fcu (where i've been a happy member for years). they…read moremisspelled my name, they changed the atm machine so we can only get $20 bills, where we used to be able to get $10s, i didn't get my last checking account statement altho i am set up to get a paper one. i went to the credit union to get a statement so i could balance my checking account, and i was told that no one got last month's checking account statement, that i may get both august's and september's together. and, OH, where my statement used to be free at the GFCU before the merger, now they're charging $3, but they didn't tell us that before the merger. i'm looking elsewhere. the tellers are very nice, but PGCFCU is giving us less and charging us for it.

The stipulations here are crazy no debit card even if you have your ID they won't give you any money. There's no tellers so they really can't service. Only select locations have tellers that can give you cash. This is a huge inconvenience for people who choose is not to use a debit card 10 thumbs down worst establishment and one of the major reasons I don't primarily bank with Bank of America. They're just inconvenient TD Bank here I come! .

Just came here last week and it there was a message on the atm machine in the drive through that said please wait, while we prepare something. Anyway, i sat for a couple of minute because I seen the machine loading. It was actually moving so I thought it was going to actually boot up., NOPE!! finally decided to park and go inside. On my way in people were coming out just as irritated. (On another note) Why not put a note on the drive thru atm at least. That way customers will be aware of the situation. An associate from the bank then begins to explain that every atm on Baltimore Ave was down and he didn't know when it would be back up. He stated some crap about a server issue. When asking about the next closest PNC atm, he insisted that the nearest PNC with service was in Greenbelt. RIDICULOUS!!! I proceeded down Baltimore ave towards Laurel and found the PNC ATM on Main Street to be up and running. I have no idea if or when the system finally decided to work again. I got out if there. But like I said this isn't the first or second time i've had issues at this particular branch, it's starting to repetitive. Please get it together.

The teller machines allow to talk to a "teller" via the machine. There is also a terminal that can be used for online banking. This is all in addition to the actual human tellers etc. I've been impressed with the customer service SECU provides. Glad they opened this branch.
