Between their lack of professionalism and blatant disregard for their customers, my story with this bank ended with me PAYING THEM to never have to step foot in the establishment again. Last June I made a deposit of a total of 4 checks between Bethpage, and Chase. At the time I was trying to get control of my spending by putting my savings account at a different establishment (Chase) to limit the transferring between checking and savings. I made a 2 check deposit to Chase for the amount totaling around $700. Not a ton of money but not pocket change either. I made this deposit with the teller, face to face. When receiving my receipt it did look a bit odd, but I assumed that the account balance just had not update yet. A month goes by. From my birthday, I had cash to deposit and I figured it would do more good going into my savings. I went to Chase to deposit this cash and then I realized I was $700ish short in my account. I asked for a record of my deposits and the 2 checks I had deposited a month earlier were not accounted for. It was as if I never was there and those checks did not exist. From the beginning of this, I was not taken seriously. I was actually asked if I had made the mistake and never deposited money that day. WRONG. ALL of the blame was put on me. Me not keeping the receipt from day of deposit didn't allow them to open a claim. Me not being able to provide the a copy of voided copied checks in question was an issue. Me not being able to tell them immediately what day the checks were deposited was an issue. NEVER was it their error of either losing or scamming me out of what was close to a thousand dollars. Eventually, after working with my other bank, I was able to figure out the day of deposit, and was able to figure out what checks were deposited to which bank, allowing me to reach out to my employers to get voided copies. EVERYONE in this situation was helpful with the exception of Chase. Months later I was given a credit for the amount of the 2 checks. I was never given an explanation as to what happened. And at that point after waiting 4 months to get this credit I didn't care. As soon as the credit was received I closed my account thinking I could put this behind me. WRONG AGAIN. In November I received a letter that I OWED THEM the exact amount of the smaller check, claiming that they credited me "too much." Apparently there was enough proof for the larger check, but not the smaller one. It was for about $250. I went down to the branch to fight it, but because my account had been closed, they couldn't open a claim. I PAID THEM THE MONEY TO NEVER HAVE TO WALK INTO THOSE DOORS AGAIN. Never a follow up. Never an apology. Never them reaching out to me with updates. Never owning up to a massive F up. If you are a member of Chase, run. Take your money out and don't let these fools make another cent off of you. And if you are looking for an establishment to put your money into, again, RUN. To this day I shake with anger telling this story of unprofessionalism, deceit, and lies. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK.

This use to be the best bank. I have a home loan, auto loan, and all regular accounts there. Ever…read moresince they switched to "FourLeaf" which they claimed was strictly just a name change, it's all gone down hill. I use to pay my mortgage directly with a transfer. Now it's a complicated process that takes days to withdraw. I am very disappointed in the company transition. On a positive note, the new ATM with different bill options is nice.

Ever since they changed the name from Bethpage to FourLeaf you cannot pay extra on your loan unless…read moreit's timed perfectly within a short window after your payment clears I like to sometimes pay my loan ahead and I almost always pay extra on the principal balance they have made it very inconvenient and difficult to do that now I cannot recommend this credit union it is absolutely horrible to deal with they clearly do not care about their customers and they do put protecting their interest above their customers and at their customers expense, I am not complaining about the good people working in the Patchogue branch I am complaining about the Greedy Decisions corporate has been making, FourLeaf is an Absolutely Terrible Credit Union use any other credit union.

I felt like I was intruding on the conversation as a third party and this continued for a while when I was attempting to make a deposit. This isn't the first time this Bank of America has provided horrendous and/or awkward service but it will be the last for me. Go somewhere else. The one in Holbrook is much nicer.

I have had to wait for a notary before but this time I waited 20 min in the chair and was not even spoken to. Oh but then I was, and the notary was with someone else. Response to me needing on was that state farm does it across the street......Well really now. That is just the answer I did not want to hear. So I went to the UPS store on Waverly and for 3 minutes out of my life and $2 and a very nice person to deal with. So, Just saying that customer service is your job and it is lacking. gotta say the last 2 times I went to the TD more up north in Medford and they are as nice as pie and fast. Maybe you should learn from them.

They know their customers and are extremely helpful. I used to use one of the major bank chains and the level of service did not even come close. I dreaded having a question or needing to go into the back for anything. But not at FNBLI Patchogue. I actually like going here. Everyone that works is this bank is fantastic. I have also been to the Sayville and Huntington branches and have been very happy with the service there also. I can't say enough good things about this bank.

Created a bank account here a couple of months ago and have had nothing but trouble since even…read moreopening the account. The lady who helped create the account messed up two times so we had to start the entire process of opening a bank account all over again, for a third time. It took over an hour but we finally were able to get out of there. Fast forward to a month later I noticed my account had a fee. I called and they said I didn't have enough $ in the account which is why I received a fee. I explained how their employee set up the WRONG account (three tries later) and that I want to have the green checking (FREE) account. They refunded me the $15 fee and all was good - so I thought. My wife and I weren't using the account (we use a bigger, national bank) so I decided to transfer most of the funds out. Without knowing it as I don't monitor this account, I have been charged a $12 fee on three separate occasions, at the end of Nov, Dec, and Jan. Fast forward to January 31st and I decide to pull the remaining small amount of $71 and emailed them saying I would like to cancel this account. Nothing happens, and it's the 3rd of Feb now. So I call this branch and spoke to a friendly, competent employee who now told me my account is negative, and after speaking with the manager, the bank cannot refund me for any of the fees or overdraft fee because the account was at a $59 balance when I tried to do that. Well, it wasn't, I saw $71 which is why I specifically chose to transfer that odd number out. Which is the exact amount minus their $12 fee...hmm. At this point I don't care anymore I just want to be done with that bank so I told them to keep the fees and please close the account...but, you guessed it, I can't because my bank keeps trying to pull the $71. And apparently I'm going to get more $35 fees once that happens, and there's nothing Dime can do. Epic... And it's sad because my wife and I wanted to build a relationship with this bank to use them (a local bank) for our real estate investing needs. Haha yeah...Done. But unfortunately not, still trying to close this fiasco.
