Great place if you want a vague idea of what's going on with your child and have no desire to get them help. My stepson was seen 6 months ago and has still not received an official diagnosis or any follow-up to speak up, despite multiple phone calls and them continuously billing us for their billing error. Evidently, we're expected to pay for services that were never provided. My son was seen 4 weeks ago and despite multiple phone calls, still has no diagnosis or follow-up. The evaluation process itself was alright though. Evidently my stepsons eval (husband took him) was very brief but, my son's was roughly an hour of very thorough discussion, productive play and testing. I was specifically told, when I scheduled my son, that his care would not be handled as poorly as my stepsons but, clearly they care more about profits than the children! We first came to Latham Developmental Pediatrics back in 2007. I knew something was going on with my son who was turning 2 for quite some time. We saw Dr. Malone and he was amazing! My son was diagnosed with Autism and we started receiving services right away in our county. In addition to getting county services such as speech, occupational therapy, and special education, we reached out to Latham Developmental Peds for help beyond the diagnosis and they were a wealth of information! Recently, we were back for my son now that he is older for some guidance as he is going into middle school. We saw a different doctor and she was wonderful as well.
