They start off by having you check in by asking you the famous questions that they asked everybody which is basically if you've been outside of the country if you been outside of the State that are under the quarantine ban New York State and then finally have you been hanging out with your covid-19 friends. As long as you answered no to all of those they take your temperature and they give you a little sticky note to give to the nurse who takes your vitals and you're on your way. This is a great setup and it works out well. They have their chairs blocked off so that you can't sit next to each other so what increases social distancing in the waiting area. The reason why I dropped it down a star is because the wait times have gotten really long and it's just a little bit one-sided in that effect because if you're late to your appointment you get canceled but they can be late to their appointment and we just have to deal with it. Now onto my Dr Jessica Berman MD. I will say this she is one heck of a doctor she has been seeing me now for probably 11 years maybe even a little bit longer and she has been on point with me all the time and she holds me accountable which is something that I need at times. My wife is also seen by her and my wife has nothing but positive things to say about the doctor. Both of my sons one is age 22 and one is 11 and they are both seen by her as well and she is an excellent doctor in every facet of care that is given to my family. The only unfortunate part is right now she's not accepting new patience but I do recommend this facility because if these doctors are anything like Dr Berman then they have an excellent practice on their hands. Non the less I needed dental work so she declined his inappropriate talk and set a date for my dental work. At my appointment instead of an exam and appropriate dental care. In revenge, he ripped three (3) healthy, viable teeth from the upper front of my mouth and I now have a problem chewing, not to mention the after pain. My wife subsequently received a threatening letter from some one named Rory Ogden alleged Dental Director. I will seek legal advice regarding this terrible treatment bestowed on my wife who is a pastor at her church and for malpractice bestowed on myself.

I stayed with this group for a decade, because I like my doctor, but some members of the office…read morestaff simply do not have the patients' best interests as their primary concern. During my time with this office, I've had my blood work done many times, and every time, they say they'll call me with the results. Honestly, 75% of the time they do not call. A week or more will go by, and I'll have to call to get the results, and a week thereafter, I may get a form in the mail (one that looks like it was photocopied a million times, so the text is blurred & faded), on which are my blood-work numbers, scribbled inside the text boxes. Sometimes, I'll get the form & no call, sometimes a call & no form, but most of the time, it's neither. When I need a prescription called in to my pharmacy, they tell me they'll do it within 24 to 48 hours. After going to the pharmacy a couple times and having them tell me no one called them for my prescription, I now call the office first, to remind them to do what they said they'd do. On multiple occasions, I've needed a prescription mailed to me (which my doctor kindly recommended, to save me from having to drive there), and the staff always say they'll mail it within 24-48 hours. Roughly 75% of the time, I've gotten it in the mail within 4-5 business days, but of the other 25% of the time, they either forget to put it in the outgoing mail, or they forget they're supposed to mail it & it sits there for a week, and they forget to call me to tell me it's ready to be picked up. Last year, I needed a referral, so my doctor said he'd have his staff set up an appointment, and they'll get in touch with me. A week went by, and I heard nothing. I called, they had no idea what I was talking about & said they'd ask my doctor. Another week went by... I called, they said they'll get back to me ASAP. Nearly another week went by, and I got an envelope from them in the mail. It had a referral form in it, with an appointment scheduled for a month later. Because they forgot to do it, it cost me nearly 3 weeks, and then instead of calling me with the details, they mailed it to me, delaying the information by another 3-4 days. During the ten years or so that I've been a patient, there was just one time that I actually forgot about something; I had an appointment last year, and it completely slipped my mind. I only remembered it when I got a letter in the mail, only a few days after my scheduled appointment; it was a bill for $25, because I forgot to call them... I'm penalized for my one-time forgetfulness, and I'm also penalized for their habitual forgetfulness. The obvious thing to do is to talk to my doctor about the problems with the office staff. I have. He told me to speak with the office manager any time I have any problems. I have. Basically, it goes like this: a staff member neglects to do something, so I call & ask about it. They tell me they forgot/misplaced/didn't get the message, etc., but she'll take care of it right now. I ask to speak with the manager. I'm put on hold, the office manager eventually picks up, I tell her the problem, she puts me on hold, eventually comes back on, says they'll take care of it right now, puts me on hold, and then the same staff person eventually picks up & says she'll take care of it right now. After going through that routine a few times, I realized I'm not accomplishing anything - I'm just wasting even more of my time. I like my doctor, and there are few really good members of the office staff, but there's a systemic problem with this medical group, and although the symptoms have been identified & discussed with more than one authority, on more than one occasion, those symptoms still have yet to be satisfactorily treated. I've been a patient patient, but it's time to walk away & find a more reliable, trustworthy, and professional organization (and I suggest my future-former doctor do the same).

This review is specifically about Dr. Alan Conlon. Two…read moreyears ago I had some severe health problems and ended up having my first ever (and last) manic episode. During this episode I left the practice and moved to another because I had moved to Saratoga. I was forced to move back to the area and attempted to rejoin the practice when I had some very serious problems related to psych, endocrine and physical ailments. Please note that I had been a patient in the practice for 25 years- my sons, ex-wife, brother and nieces and nephews all were or are presently treated here. Dr. Conlon for some reason specifically ordered his staff to not allow me to be seen by ANYONE in the practice even though the practice was accepting new patients. Considering my longevity with the practice, the fact that they treat my family and the complexity of my problems at the time I find his decision to not allow anyone in the practice to treat me somewhat vindictive and lacking in the compassion you would take for granted from a professional practitioner. For this reason I would recommend you strongly avoid this doctor.

The medical assistants and nurses take their time with communicating with us both to make sure our information is updated and accurate so that Ginny (Virginia Larner, PA-C) can provide the best medical and wellness advice to maintain our reasonably good health. They also are in consistent communication with our specialists which also is a great help. We've had doctors in the past that were pill pushers and appeared to always be in a hurry to get us in and out with a prescription. Finally, we have found a health care provider that we are 100% pleased with.

The only frustrating aspect is that it is nearly impossible to reach a live staff person by telephone. The phone tree is set up so you have to leave a message and wait for a return call, which can take several hours or days, depending on the nature of the call. This can be frustrating, and if you happen to be away from your phone at the moment they call you, you have to start over. It would be much more efficient, in my view, if they answered their phones.
