Well the rain came before we got to it and sure enough we had a leak in the closet. It was a slow drip leak and it reminded us to get the roof done. So when I started calling around I found two other companies that give free estimates. One I did not have come out since the guy who does the estimate was ill. The other company came out right away, showed me pictures on his phone of the work that needed to get done. That was awesome, because I certainly am not going up on the roof. He explained everything he was going to do and gave an estimate the next day. I wanted another estimate and got a bid from All Four Seasons Roofing. I was not home but my husband was when they came by, went on the roof and sent us an estimate. He told me they would send photos to us online but I never got them and checked my spam file. Here are the differences in the estimates: **Other Company was going to replace six tiles, seal flashing, blow leaves and debris out of metal v-flashing, removed lint debris that blew on the roof, seal all small cracks in tiles and check paper under tile at leak area. Paper was good. **This company told us the paper under the tile needed replacing or sealing as it was cracked, then they would seal any cracked in the tiles. They did not include in the estimate clearing debris from flashing or the lint and I was not given an idea of cost to do that. They would be on the roof anyway and it was easy to clear out. Since I was getting new matching tile with the other company, we went that route. The owner of the company who did the work with his helper even showed us the tile he removed to the back of his truck. This review is based on the estimate given as they did not do the job. The three stars is for them coming out promptly and getting the estimate back in a timely manner. Just got an angry call from the owner for a 3 star review. Never experienced this before for my honest opinion. Glad I did not use this company.

After receiving 5 different bids we chose All Four seasons and have absolutely no regrets! Their pricing was right in the middle of the five bids we received. They took pictures of the roof and made a recommendation about our gas water heater vent as it was located in a valley. (We went ahead and switched to an electric water heater as it was original to the home and made sense to replace it before having an issue with the current water heater and ensuring the roof would have the best possible outcome). Communication was open and clear. Contract was perfectly written with materials, labor, permit, and what is and is not covered for the full re roof. We went with Malarkey Highlander shingles they filled out the warranty information and explained how the warranty works and how to contact them with any issues. The crew sent out went straight to work each day they were here, debris pickup was great they took extra caution in the back to ensure our dogs wouldn't step on any left over staples or nails from the tear off. They did play music (totally fine) at an appropriate volume and they clearly work well together. Any questions I had for the crew were answered in an understandable and professional manner. *Chuck and Dawn went above and beyond to help coordinate us getting a manufactured housing licensed provider to replace Southside Facia and took care of coordinating with them . (We're wanting gutters so it was important to make sure Facia is in excellent condition.) We'll be getting gutters from them in a few months as they also provide that as a service as well! From the initial meeting with owner Carlos in September 2025 to get a bid for a new roof and solar panels, my husband and I were impressed. We first contacted Great Basin Roofing because of the great reviews and the fact they do both roofs and solar panels - we liked the idea of one company overseeing it all for continuity. After getting several bids we chose to use Great Basin Roofing, and we are very happy with that choice. Carlos is professional, knowledgeable, personable, and patient with questions. We also got to know office manager Victoria very well as there have been many phone calls and emails back and forth regarding the basics of the projects and ongoing challenges getting approval for the panels from NV Energy. Victoria has been outstanding in her almost-daily efforts to get updates from NV Energy and keep us informed and even made a special trip to our home to make it simpler for us to sign documents. Our roof was installed at the beginning of November by a crew led by Victor, who also provided great customer service. The crew got to work right away the first day tearing off our old roof and continued working two more days to finish installing our new roof. They worked full days, cleaning up at the end of each day, including through the wind and light rain to get the project completed on time. If you need a new roof, Great Basin Roofing and Solar should be on your short list of companies to call. We are still waiting impatiently for approval from NV Energy to have our panels installed (that's a story for another time); I'll update the review after the panel portion of the job is complete.

It rained about a week or so later and we realized one of the leaks was not fixed, and my child's room had a ton of water coming in. We again had communication issues. When two men did come out, they were able to put something up to fix the issue and the company told us we do not need to pay the remaining $500. All in all, I will not be working with this company again due to their lack of communication. The discount they gave us due to the problems is appreciated, & when the guys were here they were all very kind which is why I am updating with 3 stars.

I asked him some basic questions as to who he was, why he was at my house and who sent him. Nothing was out of line and the entire interaction was recorded on my outdoor camera. The entire interaction was friendly and professional. First and foremost, the representative outright lied to Heather Neal about a supposed "hostile confrontation" and should be held for libel. This fabricated incident is not only unprofessional but also deeply damaging to the company's reputation. Such deceitful behavior is unacceptable and undermines any trust a customer might place in his services. Furthermore, the representative quoted for a drip edge that is neither required nor present on any roofs within our development. This was confirmed by two other reputable roofing companies, who both stated unequivocally that a drip edge is unnecessary. It is clear that this attempt to charge for unnecessary work is a blatant attempt to inflate costs dishonestly. His actions reflect poorly on Big Horn Roofing and suggest a disturbing pattern of deceptive business practices. I urge the company to address these issues promptly to prevent further damage to its reputation. Sharing my experience to other potential customers about the dishonest and unprofessional behavior exhibited by your company.
