They defraud the insurances with their direct billing. They make promises they cannot keep! The administration is unorganized, untrained and rude. Every time you are there someone is fighting with the admins and reception because of malpractice. They give you bullshit excuses like " we tried calling you" " we left you a message" Do not waste your time to save a couple of bucks as they defraud insurances so you do not pay the 20/10% your insurance does not cover. The person ( I cannot call them dentist) who takes wisdom teeth out is a savage who behaves like a veterinarian and has really bad breath for a dentist. I do not recommend anyone to go there! I will get my attorney involved as soon as I get back to Canada. I went to a dentist in the state who listed all the wrong doings. For ortho, they have no plan or even stable dentists , changes every now and then ( once they actually get their licence they leave ). Do not waste your time going there . Before the staff starts answering to this message - note that a complaint has been lodged with the Better Business Bureau and the RCDSO and I have all the proofs to back this up. Malpractice is rampant in this place . Don't believe the 5 star as they promises a 20% discount for good reviews . If you are cheap and a miser this place is for you, otherwise go to a real dentist clinic not a back alley abbortion place ! You were given multiple chances to make this right but never did. Dogs tail can't ever be straight not I will take action on behalf of all those you have defrauded and fooled/scammed Very frustrated with this place! Emotional and mental waste! She put her hair up and then started touching the instruments. Didn't wash her hands nor put on gloves. Who knows where her hands have been besides in her hair! She did a very poor job but the worst part was she padded the bill. I guess she thought it would be okay to charge for time she didn't use because we have insurance. Find a dental office that follows proper protocol for hand washing, etc. One that doesn't over bill would be better too.

As an example, I was having a tooth extracted and after 5 injections of anesthesia, my tooth was still sensitive and I was yelling and freaking out like a crazy man - Dr. Javadi calmed me down with her soothing tone and brought out the laughing gas and got the job done. My apologies to the staff and clients who I might have scared that day :-) Marlene Heics is the best Hygienist that I have ever had and is completely thorough! Knowing my medical history, every session starts with Marlene taking my blood pressure and doing an oral exam and she refers any findings to Dr. Javadi immediately - as an example, she texted Dr. Javadi over a weekend to remind her about my condition. They do direct billing with the insurance companies and are appropriately staffed so you don't wait too long. The waiting room is small but cozy with comfortable chairs and a TV set to news, weather and traffic. The one negative is that evening and Saturday appointments book up fast and you can wait weeks to months for those. If you have flexibility during the work day then you are good. If not you can get around this by booking your visits well in advance.

I still stand by my statement that Dr. Joshi is a WONDERFUL dentist. I recently changed my mind after receiving Account Statement for $100 after I was told I had paid in full during my original appointment in February. When I called to ask what had happened I was met with different answers 1. They forgot to add the additional work done in the original bill 2. My insurance pays every 2 weeks so there was a discrepancy on the bill 3. There was a glitch/error from the computer when adding it in. I personally don't believe its good practice. If I had recieved a call shortly after my appointment explaining there was an error I would have no issue with that, mistakes happen. However sending off an account statement saying I owe them money due to an error made on their behalf without any explanation seems uncaring and unprofessional.

I've been going to Dr. Rashid at several of his practices for the past decade or so. In a line of work where dentists can rip your wallet apart by scaring you to get treatments you don't need (and may God Protect us when they know that patient has insurance), Dr. Rashid is a God sent. He gives honest feedback on true condition and helps solves the problems rather than creating new ones that don't exist. I can understand that many dentists are looking to make money (just like the rest of us), but it appears that many don't believe they are answerable to God in there Hereafter. Every penny earned by tricking someone intentionally will come to bite you on the Day of Judgement so amend your ways before it's too late when neither your money nor your high profile friends will be able to help you. If you (dear money-driven dentist) need to see how a good, honest dentist should be - go spend a day with Dr. Rashid. Sorry if that sounded harsh, but had to be said. All said, if you have a tooth issue and want honest advice and want your pain to be resolved without paying for unnecessary fixes, don't think twice - call Dr. Rashid.
