Most…read morepictures were of our guests, which is great, but we would like to be able to hang pictures in our house. Barbara no showed the day of the wedding because of a broken arm I believe. So it was her husband, Richard and his 16 year old daughter taking the pictures. I was not told beforehand so it was news to me and too late to find anyone else. He had us crouch down to take photos guaranteeing that they would look great. Nope we look crouched down and awkward. We never made the album with them because there were not many photos that I would want to look at forever. Maybe it was an off situation but I would not recommend them. We wanted sunset shots and I got a shot of our hands and an awkward faces in some that missed a sunset. We felt not photogenic, which is terrible to say. Then realized that it was the photographer and not us. I wish I spent more versus trying to stay within a budget.

She spent so much time of the phone with us helping figure out our wedding timeline and going above and beyond to help with other wedding things as she knows so much about weddings and Key Largo. Her husband stayed well beyond what we paid for (they are so generous) ensuring he captured the perfect photos from our wedding. I'm convinced she's never even shot a wedding. They had already paid her in full, but getting the money back was a nightmare. Lexi had already spent the money she was paid and she had the audacity to ask for two more weeks to come up with the money because she couldn't afford to refund the full amount at that time. She was shameless for the trouble she caused, and it was clear we weren't the only ones she had done it too. Only after her parents were contacted did she issue a proper refund. Thank god myself and one other guy were there with real cameras to capture the day. But the stress inflicted on the family was so unfair. BEWARE OF THIS GIRL!!

Best photos she took were of the DJ, who she talked with all night instead of taking photos of my wedding ‍ she told me she filled SD cards and even asked her to send me the raw images then. She couldn't. I believe it was a full Lie. Thankfully I was able to dispute two large payments and won. I don't believe she is doing photography anymore (thank god). Don't do any business with Lexi Valdez.

We shot a lot of pictures and he was able to keep our energy going while capturing the excitement and personalities of both my husband and I. Having him there on our wedding day was definitely a gift. The level of professionalism and organization he brought to the day was amazing. The location I had my wedding at did not have either of the above so it made the day hard on my husband and I. I did not know what to expect or how things were suppose to go, as no first bride usually does, but Joel and his team reached out to help us make the evening run smoother and get the images we needed to capture the night.
