Just happens that this academy has many students that are of very similar skill level and size which really helps with their training (especially my younger/small kid) using technique (vice overpowering with strength and size). I see that the instructors teach at a level higher than beginner for the Saturday class and explain/demonstrate/monitor in a way that kids will understand, give their attention, and execute. The class has ample time for drills and sparring. Many of the kids participate in lots of competitions big & small and for the ones that compete, a lot of them do really well.
