Their communication was friendly and thorough. They also contacted me when interruptions in their schedule occurred, and we problem-solved together. Since the electricity was off when they did their earlier repairs, there was no way to detect that the surge had fried that breaker. Their goal was to get my power back on. Outlets look fine - left trash everywhere that I had to pick up outside (we have little kids and didn't need them stepping on screws and trash.) Left trash inside the house - in our driveway - lazy to not clean up after yourself. On his rush out, he ran his big van off our driveway retaining wall and broke a huge section of the wall. He said he would refer and send another contractor out to finish our walls - putting sheetrock back together and texturing walls so they were "paint ready." That contractor showed up to do a half-ass job - said he would return to finish - never returned. 3-4 cancelations over 3-4 weeks - not responding to texts - finally sent "another" guy to finish his work. That guy showed up - walked the house - said he was going to Home Depot to get materials and guess what... never came back. Now neither are responding leaving us with NON paint ready shitty walls. Our house was left a freaking disaster. And we are also now out the cost to repair our retaining wall. I would not hire - too hard to find good contractors.

After that, we decided to upgrade the service panel in the garage, he came and did that with the same level of professionalism and attention to detail. I've known for quite some time that our main service panel outside was a fire hazard. An old Federal Pacific box from the '70's. I'd thought about getting that replaced, but always got outrageous quotes from other contractors or was told that the process was "a real pain...pulling permits from the city, etc." I asked Justin about that, long story short, he got the permits, arranged the shutoff, replaced everything and gave us a major upgrade including a built in surge protector. He finished the job, and the city electrical was here within minutes to get the power back on. Seamless planning on his part. We now also have a way to run a generator to the entire house if the power goes out. All for a price much fairer than anyone who'd quoted the job in the past. This level of service is hard to find, we're really fortunate to have found him.
