I've been going to appointments for the past 8 weeks, and I kept trying to convince myself that everything was fine. In reality, I spent over $600 on appointments and special soles, but my feet did not get any better. Today was the breaking point. I was confirmed for an appointment, took some time off work, and drove 45 minutes out of my way. When I arrived, the staff had no record of my appointment and said my usual doctor was not even in the office (at any of the locations). They said they left a voicemail a few weeks ago stating they had to reschedule. I replayed the voicemail, and all it said was "I'm confirming your appointment for December 5th, but it will take place at the Friendswood office and not the Pearland office." I also received an email yesterday confirming the same appointment. Nice job trying to BS your way through that one. I then asked if there was another doctor I could see since I went out of my way to be here, and it was the staff's fault for the screw up. The receptionist said that the doctor was busy all day, but I could come back tomorrow to see my original doctor. I then told her to just forget it because I was never coming back. The receptionist then said a doctor would be able to see me today after all but it would just be a few minutes. What a miracle! I declined because I won't be giving another penny to South Texas Foot Specialist. One positive note - Doctor Bridges is very friendly. Cheers.
