Okay, I just completed my final day of physical therapy on November 3rd, 2016. I have been going to Dr. Duchon since the end of July for 3 days a week, every week.
I am a very particular type of person. Normally I do NOT go to a doctor for anything, because I know my body well enough to cure what ails me, beside which I just don't like doctors .
That being said, after I was rear ended, car totaled, I had no choice but to go to a chiropractor, as I had no clue what to do to fix my very obvious spinal, nerve and muscle damage. My first two visits I went to another chiropractor (whom I will not mention here), as Dr. Duchon was on vacation at the time, and I was so not impressed, but after transferring to Bay Oaks Chiropractic and meeting Dr. Duchon (for the very first time), I felt so much relief.
Why you might ask...... It's because at the very first meeting not only did he show caring and concern for his patients, exhibiting a bedside manner that I wish all doctors had, but he also took the time to explain what was wrong with my body (because of the accident), what he would do to help get me back to where I was before the accident, and in such a way that I would understand completely what he was saying.
In other words, he would break it down to you in a manner that you could personally understand without feeling like a dummy. Let me tell you, I appreciate that greatly, as most doctors like to explain things using medical jargon that only another doctor can understand, and they are obviously not smart enough to be able to break it down for us ordinary humans. EXCEPT for Dr. Duchon, he took the time and patience to explain EVERYTHING until I understood what was going on. Plus......he's not bad on the eyes. LOL
Seriously though, I would recommend Dr. Duchon to anyone needing to see a chiropractor. Also for those of you that don't realize it, going to see a chiropractor (at least once a month) for an adjustment is very beneficial (and not that expensive). Just call and ask, or do some research on the web. Going to a chiropractor can potentially save you thousands as it can help prevent you from having to go to a hospital or from having to get surgery when all you really needed was to get a spinal alignment. Getting regular adjustments can also reduce the amount of pain you're in as well as reducing the quantity of medications you are currently taking (which, by the way, doesn't cure the problem but only masks it temporarily). Just think about it, do the research, check out the benefits and costs versus what you are currently doing right now and you'll realize that it will be the best decision you ever made.
DR. DUCHON .... I LOVE YOU!!!
