In fact, not much an outdoors type except easy hiking. My bf, is ex-military and currently quasi-military, so he is much more 'comfortable' in activities like this. I wished I remembered his name but he made this easy, comfortable and was there to assist. He explained, safety features, foremost. He gives, you a safety vest and explains about it. They text you the disclosures and you upload your signatures. If you couldn't do that, he provided another way, in their kiosk office, next to boats. The meeting place is at their kiosk office. The ride was memorable! We did a nice slow ride through the channel UNTIL we got to the open lake. We stopped and he went through safety items and rules of the lake. When we had the 'opening up' of the throttle, that was scary and fun! Just a tip for newbies: Don't go behind a boats wake or waves! The ride is choppier!!! We went towards some rock formations and he explained the history. The lake was beautiful! Just gorgeous being ON the lake versus just seeing it on land! For some reason, it wasn't a busy morning lake day or maybe the early boat ride was just perfect timing because the lake was ours!! No lake traffic! It's like driving in a highway with no traffic!! This was worth the money and time! This was a fun experience on Lake Havasu! Safe. Enjoyable! We were glad we did it! We were inexperienced boat riders and we did it or rather my bf was able to drive boat. Just hang on!! I almost lost my iPhone! Thank God, IT FELL IN THE BOAT! Yikes! The boat holds about 25 passengers and is comfortable. Captain Tim navigates while Janene narrates the tour. Janene provides interesting history and facts about the lake, London Bridge and the people that designed and built Lake Havasu. The almost two hour trip guided us through Copper Canyon, where Janene pointed out geological features. Captain Tim expertly maneuvered the boat so that everyone could take good photos of the sunset and London Bridge. Janene took photos of the guests so that we could remember our adventure. They offered water to us when we boarded the boat, and we were allowed to bring our own beverages on board with us. We brought wine and beer. Assorted music plays during the cruise. The cruise is an excellent way to experience the beauty of the area and lake. This a 5+ stars adventure.

Shane had amazing communication from start to finish and made the whole experience effortless for us. We made several stops along the way to cool off and swim in the river, which the teens loved. Craig had great stories and history of the lake and the London Bridge. It's so beautiful out on the lake and there is no better way to see the amazing boating life on Lake Havasu. Not long enough. Seeing the high life of boaters and lots of eye candy was more than we expected. Bring your cooler and snacks and enjoy the ride. I'll do this every time I visit Lake Havasu.

Locally…read moreowned, Bluewater Charters run the tours during the winter through mid-April, when the waters are quiet. We had reservations with VIP seats (which are at the front of the boat). The boat is large and comfortable with restroom facility. The interior of the boat gets a little hot when you are in the sun. You can also go out onto the deck to watch if you want. We had planned a 5 hour tour but there were issues with the boat's engine and we returned after 2 hours. Within the 2 hours, the trip was fabulous. The crew narrates what we saw and tells a little history. We made it as far as the beginning of the gorge and saw several notable rock formations and petroglyphs. As a rock enthusiast, the trip was fabulous. They provide nice binoculars so you can look for wildlife. You can bring snacks and beverages (I recommend water) in small coolers. I also recommend sunglasses, hat and sunscreen on the ride. Even though we returned early, I saw enough to highly recommend the trip. Be sure to call and make sure they are running and best to make reservations.

We'd confirmed our reservations the day prior with no hassles. The boat was packed! The day of the trip was absolutely beautiful. The temperature outside was in the three digits. Once we got underway there was a nice cool breeze along the river with beautiful sights along the way. The Captain did a great job pointing out areas of interest. There were two ice chests full of water bottles on board, so no one went thirsty. Both me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the boat ride and considered it the highlight of our stay at Laughlin.
