Unfortunately, two of the main features (the sound system and the BBQ grill) did not function properly during our rental. The sound system kept cutting out within the first couple of hours and eventually stopped working, significantly affecting the group's atmosphere. The grill also repeatedly shut off, failing to maintain a consistent temperature, making cooking slow and frustrating throughout the day. These were key features we chose this rental for, so their failure directly impacted the value of the experience. We contacted the owner to address the situation. Although he initially discussed a partial refund, no refund was ultimately issued. Overall, while the idea behind the experience is great, the equipment's reliability and the way the issue was handled did not meet expectations.

We had a party of 8, 2 adults and 6 older teens and had reservations with a different rental company and less than 48 hours prior to our reservation they had to cancel due to mechanical issues. We were left without the size motor and length of the boat we felt comfortable using for 8 adult sized people, who wanted both space and power to pull a tube and have fun. Thankfully we found Havasu Adventure Beach! WOW! I am SO glad I did! And INCREDIBLY happy that the place we originally booked ended up not having the boat, because this boat had MORE horsepower and was CHEAPER!!!! Not only that, but the deposit was also significantly less and was refunded in less than 24 hours. The staff were ALL amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable and made our whole group feel welcome! And YES, they really are RIGHT in the water, so no launching the boat or having to get it onto the trailer at the end of the day. You park your car right there and the boats are in the water and waiting! One thing that really stuck out was upon our return in the afternoon, after the boat was perfect all day and we all had a blast, the gentleman working helping guide us in yelled out, "Hi guys! How was your day? So glad to hear you had fun! We really appreciate your business, we know there are lots of choices in Havasu and we are so thankful you chose us!" WOW!!! In fact, not much an outdoors type except easy hiking. My bf, is ex-military and currently quasi-military, so he is much more 'comfortable' in activities like this. I wished I remembered his name but he made this easy, comfortable and was there to assist. He explained, safety features, foremost. He gives, you a safety vest and explains about it. They text you the disclosures and you upload your signatures. If you couldn't do that, he provided another way, in their kiosk office, next to boats. The meeting place is at their kiosk office. The ride was memorable! We did a nice slow ride through the channel UNTIL we got to the open lake. We stopped and he went through safety items and rules of the lake. When we had the 'opening up' of the throttle, that was scary and fun! Just a tip for newbies: Don't go behind a boats wake or waves! The ride is choppier!!! We went towards some rock formations and he explained the history. The lake was beautiful! Just gorgeous being ON the lake versus just seeing it on land! For some reason, it wasn't a busy morning lake day or maybe the early boat ride was just perfect timing because the lake was ours!! No lake traffic! It's like driving in a highway with no traffic!! The only options offered were a 20' Tritoon with 150 HP for the first day and a 24' Tritoon with 150 HP for the second day. This was a significant downgrade in both size and performance from what we reserved, especially considering we had a large group and specifically selected the larger, more powerful boat for that reason. To make matters worse, we were expected to switch boats halfway through our vacation, and the only adjustment offered was the normal price difference between the boats--not any additional accommodation for the inconvenience or the fact that they could not provide what we booked. Mechanical problems happen, and I understand that. What disappointed me was how the situation was handled. If you're renting for a special occasion or family vacation, I would recommend having a backup plan or confirming that the specific boat you reserved will actually be available. That boat was booked everyday this week thru sunday, all those guests were understanding and were open for the change except you and you want to leave us a bad review for something out of our control. We did what we could with such short notice and try to help you. We did not force you to take a different boat, we only were giving you options of what we had and could do. The boat holds about 25 passengers and is comfortable. Captain Tim navigates while Janene narrates the tour. Janene provides interesting history and facts about the lake, London Bridge and the people that designed and built Lake Havasu. The almost two hour trip guided us through Copper Canyon, where Janene pointed out geological features. Captain Tim expertly maneuvered the boat so that everyone could take good photos of the sunset and London Bridge. Janene took photos of the guests so that we could remember our adventure. They offered water to us when we boarded the boat, and we were allowed to bring our own beverages on board with us. We brought wine and beer. Assorted music plays during the cruise. The cruise is an excellent way to experience the beauty of the area and lake. This a 5+ stars adventure.
