We recently took the airboat tour and overall the wildlife and scenery were great, but there were a…read morecouple things I wish had been disclosed before booking. Within the first 5-10 minutes, another airboat from this same company intentionally sprayed our boat while we were sitting still. I ended up completely soaked and spent the rest of the tour in wet clothes and standing water in my Birkenstocks. I read the website and waiver beforehand and didn't see anything saying passengers should expect to be intentionally sprayed by another boat. If that's part of the experience, it should be mentioned so people can wear appropriate clothing or decide if it's for them. It also felt like the two captains were joking around with each other, but unfortunately the paying passengers were the ones who got caught in the middle. One other thing to be aware of: the bathrooms were out of order, leaving only one portable toilet that was extremely full and unpleasant to use. I don't write reviews often, and I'm not expecting a perfectly dry airboat ride. I fully expected some spray from the ride itself. I just think guests should know about these things ahead of time so they can come prepared or choose not to participate. With a few changes, this could have been a much better experience. ****Thank you for the response. I appreciate you confirming that intentionally soaking paying customers, providing unusable restroom facilities, and dismissing legitimate concerns is "exactly what your experience is all about." I couldn't have written a better warning for future customers myself.

This was my first time on an airboat, and it definitely did not disappoint. While I wish we had seen a bit more wildlife, we still got to spot an alligator, a few turtles, and some beautiful ospreys along the way. The music added a really fun energy to the ride and made the experience even more memorable. Overall, I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique and exciting adventure.

Connie did a great job telling us about the history of Amelia Island. The trolley has an excellent…read moresound system so you hear everything she says. The trolley is also air conditioned which is great when the feel like temperature rises well over 100. The tour started at 1230 and lasted around an hour and a half. This was our first time to Fernandina Beach so it was a great way to see where everything is and to learn things some locals are even unaware of. The tour goes through the Historic District and we were told what was originally there and which things are still there like the Palace Saloon. The Palace Saloon is the oldest continously running bar in the state of Florida. The current mayor is also a part time bartender there. We also discovered many historic homes and learned the stores behind them. One house we went past was built over 100 years ago after it was ordered from the Sears Catalog for $1,000.-. Another highlight was 3 identical houses inside and out built by a guy for his 3 daughters. There are way too many highlights to mention. The cost of the trip for my wife, three kids and myself was only $70. We more than got our money's worth. We were also allowed to bring our 4 month old puppy with us on the trolley. Connie asked the other guests if it was okay to bring her and they said it was ok. So they are pet friendly as long as the other guests are too. Great tour!
