Nicole was such a pleasure to work with, from our initial phone conversations to meeting in person to design our wedding album. We were so fortunate to have Nicole and her team photograph our special day. Nicole, Karen, and Phoebe arrived promptly to our hotel and immediately went to work photographing our day. They were all incredibly professional, friendly, and organized. I have never met anyone that was as organized as Nicole. She really spends time planning everything out so that the day runs smoothly. Nicole and her crew also worked very well with our videographer. They complemented each other well. Not only is Nicole invested in quality photographs, but she is invested in getting to know the couple. Nicole called us several times before the wedding to talk about how we met and to share our story. We really appreciated this because not only did it allow Nicole to learn more about us, but she was somehow able to capture the essence of our relationship in her photographs. Nicole pays great attention to detail. She has extraordinary vision. You can tell she has a true talent for this. We joked with Nicole that we are awkward in photos, but Nicole eased our nerves and miraculously overcame our photo-awkwardness! We also want to thank Nicole for her patience with photographing our dogs, Dallas and Bradley, on our wedding day. They even brought a squeaky ball to get the attention of our pups during photoshoots (and even doggy bags for any stops along the way--superb service!). Nicole works with you and goes through a detailed plan on who you would like her to focus on whether it be friends, family, wedding party, etc. She is also open to all your ideas about the types of photographs you would like. When it was time to design our photo album, Nicole invited us to her studio to watch a slideshow of our photos on a projector. This was truly an experience, and it really brought back such wonderful memories. We designed a high-quality photo album and it is truly breathtaking. We were completely horrified, disgusted and disappointed that it took almost one year for us to receive our product. This took us completely by surprise because our engagement session went well and had received our photos in a timely manner. I would never recommend nor would we utilize their services again. Punctuality, Organization, and Customer service is not a top priority for Scky Art studios. 07/15/2016-In light of the owners response below..... it is evident that this business does not take any accountability for their actions. I was extremely generous in my previous review and was trying to refrain from exposing various facts. Let me add, that our contract was 4,300.00 and was signed on November of 2014 for our wedding on August 2015. By the time that we were at our last two payments of our contract AFTER the photos had already been taken, I was informed that there was "mistake" on the contract . That when the contract was finalized the taxes had been "miscalculated" (1 year later) which was over 700.00. At that point we felt forced to either pay the taxes or downgrade our package.Since it was AFTER the wedding and our budget had already met. We felt we had no choice but to downgrade All of the upgrades( for example: a bigger album and 2 parent albums) that we had paid for in advance (700.00) to keep our payments as negotiated; to make up the money for "taxes " as the owner would not budge on THEIR MISTAKE. My husband and I were completely understanding with certain situations that the owner was dealing with. For Example: she had been out for some time due to unforeseen circumstances (which put us back two months) , a complete turn over of essential staff and not to mention we have over 70 emails in regards to edits that were not "received" and or other issues addressed to SckyArt. This vendor was the ONLY one that we had issues with in providing us with our final product. Even AFTER we had agreed that we would forfeit all upgrades to make right a mistake that was made by the company ; My husband and I had to physically go down to the studio to get our photos. Evidently, We are writing this review to notify any bride or customer that SkyArt exhibits unfavorable business practices. Bottom line: 1. This company DID receive full payment by us 2. We received our pictures extremely LATE (May/ 2016) 3. This company had no regard for us as customers following the wedding and receiving our payment 4. This company changed our contract through no fault of our own For any couple or company that is considering this company for any wedding, or high scale prestigious event; Please ensure that you establish suspense dates on when you will have your previews; dates on when to expect completed edits; and dates on when you will receive the final products. So if they only deliver high res photos of clients who pay in full? how can that be accomplished when the contract is changed? Question is what is SckyArts liability on honoring their contract?

She's lived a very secluded life, doesn't usually go out, and has never been comfortable facing a camera--so I was anxious about how she'd react. From the very beginning, Iris showed incredible patience and warmth. Instead of diving straight into shooting, she spent time getting to know my mom, asking about her interests, and building rapport. To my surprise, my mom really enjoyed the conversation and opened up. Iris didn't rush me as I prepared, and her calm presence put both of us at ease. During the shoot, Iris was both efficient and thoughtful. She helped us choose outfits, gave practical tips, and scouted the best locations and lighting. Most importantly, she made the experience feel natural and fun. She gently encouraged interactions between us, but when she noticed my mom's hesitance, she pivoted--asking about her hobbies and discovering her love for music and dance. That's when Iris did something magical: she played music and invited us to dance. My mom lit up, relaxed, and became her true self. Iris captured it beautifully. The entire session felt effortless--filled with laughter, warmth, and genuine connection. By the end, my mom was comfortable, I was thrilled, and the photos perfectly reflected our bond. Iris is: Personal - She takes time to understand you. Warm - She makes you feel comfortable and cared for. Skilled - She has an eye for lighting, scenery, and natural moments. Professional - Organized and efficient, but never pushy. Working with Iris feels less like posing for a photographer and more like being with a friend who happens to be holding a camera.
