My advice would be to stay away from this kind of business. They can't even take a honest review without some type of bullying. Instead of saying hey you were unhappy with what went on what can we do to make this right, they send a threatening message. To me as far as business goes its just silly. It is all about the money. I hope they change the way they do business in the future with other clients. Destiny is a very talented photographer! My review: I have had quite a few Marine wives ask me to give reviews on photographers in the area because I have done 10 shoots in the last 2 years with a range of photographers in the area. I feel like I can give an honest review because I have done this many. Destiny was a great photographer to shoot with, however afterwards my photos were not easily accessible due to difficulty on both communication ends. My husband also paid for my shoot and did not know that we could not get even unedited photos. We received 5 photos from our shoot that I had trouble accessing. When there was difficulty getting those photos, I finally gave in and just accepted 5 unedited ones to put onto Facebook only to be told that I did not "pay" for those ones and that if I wanted them each one could be purchased for $15 each and she would edit them. I don't know about other Marine families but I definitely don't have 15$ extra to pay for each photo as much as I wished I did. We finally did get my 5 edited ones! The quality in my edited photos was awesome no complaints there. Destiny is a very talented photographer! I had fun on the set but was very disappointed in the time frame of the photos and having the difficulty in getting my photos. I also didn't like being hassled for putting up 5 photos that weren't even edited when I couldn't access mine!!! It was extremely frustrating. Would I recommend her for a shoot? Honestly, not when I have cheaper options and can get triple the amount of photos with another photographer with as good as quality. I think she's an awesome person but as far as photography goes this would be my only shoot with her. His response to my "personal" Facebook account. I am glad you expressed how you felt on our reviews, however I can not accept the disrespectful posts and comments on your page and the spouse page about our business. If you would refer back to your messages when you booked the shoot you will see that it was outlined exactly what you would receive in the photoshoot. Also if you refer back to the policy agreement you signed it states that it is against the us copyright act to take any photos without the permission of the photographer. Now I apologize for the clarity issue and you misunderstanding which pictures you could and could not download. What's even more petty is it took her A YEAR to deliver the photos, and upon doing so she went on to rant about everyone being ungrateful/unworthy. The proofs she sent were passive aggressive as they were all blurry, out of focus, or contained selfies of her and her team. Her results were and are an insult to the art form of photography. Sounds like she is continuing to live her best life and is thriving in 2025. BEWARE!

We hired her for my dad's surprise birthday and at first she seemed nice and quoted us a certain amount then the second time she talked to us she asked us for more. I wished we would've said no because those are our memories we will look back on & she ruined all the photos. She brought her "assistant" to our party that ended up being her sister (which she never told me prior) and they were eating our food mingling and laughing and taking videos which my own family members were confused. She came into our home, took our time to take photos away from our guests. AND THEY WERE ALL BLURRY! When I would ask her how they look while taking them she would put a thumbs up and say they turned out amazing. No indication of how bad they were at all. At least she could've said her camera wasn't working or something. We all had iphones and other cameras we could've used. But no she was money hungry and didn't care instead just acted like she was taking photos. I had asked her to stay a little later and she said she would but at the end of the night decided to charge me DOUBLE without informing me prior. I paid because in my head I thought these are memories that would last a lifetime. After she told me to meet her to get the photos at a Starbuck's and gave me a sob story about how life's to short and that the photos were not ready but how she had some pictures her sister took (ill insert them such a joke) my 8 year old niece could've done a better job. She kept saying how the photos are ready but they weren't and when she uploaded them they were HORRENDOUS! I couldn't believe it. Not only were they horrible she DIDNT UPLOAD MORE THAN HALF OF THE PHOTOS WE TOOK! I called her so upset then again she tried to gaslight me and talk about how I should be grateful I am healthy and I was able to throw a party as well as my family which was none of her business! This person is a STRANGER I HIRED and obviously not a good person at all. Then when I let her know how upset I was and why she didn't tell me her camera wasn't working she deleted all of the photos so I didn't have access then started ignoring my calls. She offered a book & I told her I didn't want a book I wanted our photos then tried to say that our photos weren't blurry when they clearly were. I had to call her from different numbers to get a hold and ask for our photos and she finally answered through someone whom knew who she was & told me she would upload them and never uploaded all of the photos and I constantly had to try to keep contacting her. She got her money and didn't want to give me MY PHOTOS I PAID HER FOR! This is obviously a heartless person. She would say things like "oh my daughter is in town I can't" "I'll do it later" then when she FINALLY uploaded them they all had her logo she didn't remove then I asked for our photos she said that she only uploaded the photos that SHE liked. She cut off all of the balloon arch, the cake, zoomed in too much, and darkened and blurred every photo. Not to mention she shared all of our personal photos we paid her for with our distant family members for FREE (WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION) Make it make sense. Please do yourself a favor & don't hire such a rude, gaslighting person for your special memories or for anything. I tried to contact her for a refund but she blocked me instead, that should show you her true character as a person. Unfortunately, I will be pursuing legal action for this matter.

You can tell, for the most part, the quality of photography you're going to get from their website and/or blog and all 3 photographers I had chosen had gorgeous photos. Hanssie is personable, fun and easy to talk to which I imagine to be very helpful when you're in front of a camera and need someone to help you loosen up.
