She even brought an assistant and make the process extremely seamless and easy for everyone. My baby was a little fussy during the shoot, however, Liz was able to comfort her safely. I normally have a photo of my daughter professionally done near her birthday. This year since she was turning 5 and I wasn't sure about indoor photo places with COVID-19. June was also my mom's birthday. I decided a Unicorn Session is something unique and my parents can enjoy a photo of the grandchildren in their home. SosaPix offered two packages: six photos or all photos. I have to say, if you have the money, buy the "all photo" package. It looks expensive at first, but it is actually cheaper than trying to buy one by one after seeing the photos. My daughter is at an age where she has an awkward smile (if she smiled) for the camera. I thought, I don't need all those photos. Six photos are more than plenty. I was wrong. There were so many photos to pick from, I couldn't decide, so I ended up buying all the photos. Everything was done electronically (payment, correspondences, and transfer of photo files). Sandra responded to the email questions pretty quickly. They sent us the address to the location of the photo shoot. I thought we had to hike a long way since it was at a trail head, but was only a few steps away. The ponies they had were very tamed and gentle (there were two ponies, one was just to keep the other company. LOL!). Lollipop was the name of the white pony. I was surprised of how well he behaved he was and how well he followed directions. His handler was there to help out and the rope & owner got photoshop out later. The decorations they had on Lollipop were pretty. It did not look too cheesy. I actually look through some unicorn Instagram photos of unicorn session after the photo session and I realized some of the unicorn photos I liked were by Sosapix. The husband and wife team picked a great location, beautiful time of day (when the sun is not too strong). I picked the 7 p.m. time slot. The Sandra and Carlos were very patient and kind. They seemed very flexible and relax, definitely not rigid and uptight. Carlos answered question and chit chatted with me and my husband a little even if it was not photography/session related. I do have to say I wished the digital files were all high resolution. If you want to make a canvas or blow up the photos to anything bigger than 10"x8", you will have to pay for the high resolution upgrade. They do have a deal for all photos in high resolution. I guess that is all part of the business. I will probably use SosaPix again, but I am afraid I will go broke from buying all the photos. Oh yah, if you don't have a beautiful dress, SosaPix has some with the crown you can rent. I love the dresses Sandra had in her collections. They even brought a little pop-up tent for the child(ren) to change into.
