It's great to see many basic musical instruments for sale made from natural materials, pods and seeds, rattles, drums and rain makers and so affordable too. Most animals of the zoo are included as soft toys of varying sizes, and their images printed on many of the novelty gift ware, such as T-shirts, tiles, pencil sharpeners and key rings. You can also buy some gifts from other local Norfolk places such as lavender and preserves. I've got my eye on one of the kites draping the ceiling! It looks more Oriental..... Yes, I'm one of those people that look up and don't like to miss anything.

Consistently busy in summer with kids crabbing off the deck and fishermen dangling bait from the end, its a great reminder of the towns glorious past. And in fact its glorious present, because it's a fine place to visit, with a lot of lovely art and craft shops, places to get icecream. And pubs. The beach is ace around the pier too, it even has a surf school where you can learn to hang 10 on a two foot swell. Whatever that means If you're around cromer in the evening and want a 70s flashback, end of the pier shows still take place every season.

It is a popular fishing spot, and 'crabbing' is a favourite activity for summer visitors. There is plenty of seating throughout and at the entrance there are toilets, a restaurant, a gift shop and ticket office.

Went into this establishment today to get a necklace repaired. They said they couldn't solder it…read moreas it was too thin (fair enough) but then proceeded to lecture me on its low quality, saying several times how they would never carry such an item in their shop and suggesting that I return it to wherever I got it from. This happens to be a sentimental piece that I have had for years, given to me by my great aunt. I didn't go in there to have it valued and I've never encountered a jeweller so rude as to continue to emphasise how cheap he thought my jewellery was. I said thank you, I'll try someplace else and he told me I really should' bother, it wasn't worth it. I'm sorry, but I'm the one who decides if something's g is worth my time and money and from now on, this establishment is NOT! Try getting some customer service training!
