I tinted my 2015 Toyota Camry. I previously did my car alarm on a different car years back. I always have a great experience with the owner. Chris is a great guy, very friendly and knows a lot. Tints are as follows: Toyota Camry: 20% doors, 15% back window Nissan Altima: 35% doors, 20% back window ***Really Important*** If you see any air bubbles, DO NOT MESS WITH THEM. After I got Camry done on a rainy, cold day and the following day I had crazy air bubbles. Thankfully the next two days it was sunny and they eventually go away. I decided to get my 2018 Volkswagen GTI's windows tinted all the way around (excluding the windshield) and the job that was done by Krys at Candy Car Customs was nothing short of exceptional. For those who aren't aware, the GTI has especially difficult tiny windows that are located adjacent to the side-view mirrors and this difficult task was handled with a true craftsman's touch. I won't lie, I had been nervous to get this done considering tinted windows can go so wrong and quickly cheapen the look of a vehicle if handled improperly. That was certainly not the case here. Kryspy and Konrad did awesome work on my 7 series. I had them tint all the windows including the windshield, this now being my fourth car being done by this shop. The quality of their film is superior to others , you can tell how smooth the film is and how vivid black it is.. Not blue or purple like other tint shops. Also, the quality of the actual labor that goes into tinting Windows is something a lot of car shops lack around here, but not with Car Candy. With the little I saw, cause I was in the waiting room majority of the time, Krypsy and Konrad were spending their quality time on every individual window to make sure it was damn near perfect. I have been using this shop ever since my freshman year in high school for anything ranging from tints to audio systems to even advice on products and future projects that I had in mind. The staff is amazingly friendly and keeps a close relationship to its customers, which just brings a happy atmosphere to the whole place. This kept me come back over and over again for any car project I had because I felt like I was coming to a place where they cared about my car as much as I did unlike most of the shops out there. They also always offered the best deals and never made me feel like I was just a money pit (which is usually the case). Besides all this I have never met anyone more skilled in tint installation than Chris (shop owner), which comes out perfect every time and seems like it's second nature to him. If your looking for honest quality work this is the place to go! I had my windows tinted as well as a stereo and automatic start installed and everything was done with great quality! I had an issue with my radio that was installed and without hesitation Chris told me to bring it back in he would take a look and replace it if needed and that's exactly what was done. I just want to tell people to be careful when bringing their car here, not professional by any means. I had came to him with a basic sub and amp install, he wired them incorrectly which is resulting my sub to cut in and out. Also, when he thought there was an amp issue we took everything out of my trunk, and he assured me that all the wires in the back were dead and wouldn't be a problem.. turns out they were live wires that I was driving around with. BAD customer service and BAD service, and will never admit if he is in the wrong. Difficult to communicate with and get him to actually help out with HIS install. Finally, someone other than CHRIS at car candy was able to figure out my sub issue! If only Chris took the time out of his day to actually look at his install, he would've realize the the box was the issue all long. He hooked the wires in their incorrectly and the terminal was screwed. read more
