I found the perfect Pathfinder I was looking for at a very competitive price and drove over an hour from Ohio to buy it. But when I got it home, we started to notice oil leaks. I kept taking it to different shops only to be told they detected no leaks, but after nearly a month of cleaning up the oil, I took it back to a Nissan dealer who finally found the issue. THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED! And there wasn't warranty coverage! The records suggest that somehow parts of a belt magically got inside the engine! No one can explain how this could happen, so I was concerned that I was gonna be stuck with the bill. But Michael Mansour and Car Connection stood behind his product and absorbed a loss to make it right by me. At first I was concerned that I would have to settle for a different car, but their selection was broad enough to let me choose between a comparable swap for the base model I originally bought and an upgrade to a Platinum series - and yes, I still got to come home in a Pathfinder. BUYER BEWARE!!! On July 10, 2017, I arrived at the dealership and met w/ salesman Jason to test drive a 2011 jeep liberty w/ 66,000 miles. Upon entering the vehicle the driver side window switch wlwould not go up and the windshield wipers were torn. Jason assured me these would be repaired. During the test drive, I told Jason I would be using this vehicle to drive across county to az and asked if he felt confident the vehicle would be safe and suitable. He responded stating, "these are machines and we can't quarantee anything, but we do thorough inspections of our vehicles". He reported he would be comfortable putting his wife or daughter in this vehicle for the trip- I quess he doesn't like then much....I was also told my trade in vehicle, a 2008 mazda had "transmission problems" and they could not give me more than $2000 for my trade- my error, I agreed to this trusting their word. We agreed to a monthly payment of $325 and i purchased a warranty in which Jason stated he would "give you a step up to the next one" (meaning the 36,000 miles as opposed to 30,000)-which he did not. When i went in to sign the paperwork i was given a payment of $354 mo. Jason did make good on giving an additional  $300 for my trade to get the payment closer to the agreed upon payment. I drove the car home that night with the agreement it was to be brought back the following monday for repair to windshield wipers and window switch replaced. On my way home, the time on the radio would not remain set, the speakers went out and change oil light came on. 5 days later, the vehicle had to be towed due to a dead battery. It was repaired at the jeep dealership at a cost of $224. I contacted car connection to report issues with radio and they had me bring the car in. They reported it was a safety switch due to changing the battery and returned the car to me with windshield wipers still broken, oil light still on and window switch still broken, and speakers still not working. I took the vehicle to another facility to have oil changed, windshield wipers replaced and was told it also needed an air filter total cost $59. Three weeks later, the check engine light came on, brake light came on and air conditioner went out. Results of diagnostic- leak in power steering, fuel leak, air condenser leak. Total cost of repairs $1300 plus 1 wk in garage (resulting in $294 for rental car and $49.99 for hotel room). I was told by the jeep dealership mechanic these are all things that would have been visually noted upon inspection as Jason had stated had been done. 10 days after getting these repairs, my wheel came loose and i was told the lug nuts on the vehicle are bad and had to be replaced. Total $269. So before I made my first car payment on this vehicle my total cost - 2197.99- AND the window switch is not repaired and the speakers still do not work. Stay away from this place!!! They are horrible individuals, they are liars, their vehicles are crap, they give fraudulent information, they are scammers and they do nothing for you once you drive off the lot. Jason reported to me I could have confidence in knowing "you have a good vehicle now" referring to my mazda ( which i owned 4 yrs and drove 32,000 without ever having to have towed or repaired outside of regular maintenance) - but it was "a piece of crap" and you couldn't give me anything for it. Well Jason, thanks for the confidence. In 7 wks I've had this vehicle towed 3 times,spent a total of 14 days in garage, and spent over $2000( before I even made my first payment) in repairs and was stranded in new mexico alone with no phone service in 110 temps no a/c and 3 animals in the car in the middle of the night. I'm glad this is what you reported as being something you'd be okay with happening to your wife or child. Great character and integrity with yourself and employees. read more

HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE!! This was hands-down the most smooth, comfortable, honest car buying experience I have ever had. I have had such bad experiences in the past with dishonest dealerships, unknowledgeable sales people and worse. Based on another friend who is from the area & bought here and had a great experience, I decided to go with word of mouth and give Car Connection a shot. The car buying experience was completely different at the Car Connection! I can completely see how they were rated the Pennsylvania Quality Dealer of the Year! I was a little gun-shy going in b/c of former said bad experiences. But Michael (the owner) immediately put me at ease and those concerns at bay. He's very approachable and really LISTENED to what I was looking for and the payments I needed to stay within. He asked good questions about why I was interested in certain vehicles to get a better understanding of my needs and wants. Then he made a few additional suggestions to broaden my views and open my field up a little more. He gave me pros and cons to each. I really appreciated that!! It showed me he was really listening to what I needed and guided me based on that, not on what had the highest price tag. The finance process didn't take 3-hours like it has in the past either. It was painless b/c of the leg work Michael did in advance to ensure I was within my payment range and ready to go. I also got the extended warranty, which I STRONGLY recommend!! It's a no-brainer! Dear Potential Used Car Consumer, First of all, I would give Car Connection Superstore a rating of zero stars; unfortunately, that is not an option. Nearly a year ago, I purchased a 2008 Jeep Commander Limited from Car Connection Superstore. This purchase was to replace a Jeep Commander that was totaled in an accident at no fault of my own. The "new" Jeep Commander was delivered with a service engine soon light on. The staff at Car Connection informed me that it would be taken care of at a Jeep dealership located near me because it was still under manufacturer's warranty. In addition, any rental car expenses incurred would be reimbursed by Car Connection. The service engine soon light was not the only initial problem with the vehicle. The vehicle leaked water on the driver's side, driver's side rear seat and in the trunk area. Not even a month later the vehicle had an oil leak which resulted in more maintenance needing to be done which was at the expense of Car Connection. However, the issues with the vehicle continued such as the service four wheel drive system light came on, the radio stopped working as did the air conditioning,the pressure tire system needed to be replace and the service engine soon light continued to come on. All of these mechanical and functional issues with the vehicle were discussed with the staff (including owner Michael), it was determined that it would be best for me to search for another vehicle from Car Connection Superstore. I made the 6 hour drive to New Castle, PA in hopes that Car Connection would have a vehicle in their inventory that would fit my criteria; however, much to my dismay, Car Connection would require that I take a loss on the Jeep resulting in negative equity which would need to increase my monthly vehicle payment. In addition, Car Connection ask that I put more money down on the potential "new" vehicle. Needless to say, I walked out of the dealership frustrated and disappointed. Michael at Car Connection vowed to find me a vehicle to meet my criteria and needs. However, months passed without one vehicle being brought to my attention. Car Connection states on their website, "Our Vehicle Locating Service can find your car in as quickly as 24 hours with no charge!" Isn't it funny that they couldn't find me one prospect of a vehicle in over 2 months?!?! In addition, Car Connection states on their website that "Our goal is to take care of you the moment you step on our lot to years to come afterwards." Well if a LACK of dedication, timeliness, efficiency and honesty is a part of that "taking care of you" policy, I believe that Car Connection delivered on all of the above. This business did not make me a priority instead they made excuses. In addition, the timeliness of communication was nonexistent. For example, I was told I would receive an e-mail on either Saturday or Monday yet I didn't receive the email til early evening on Tuesday. And it didn't just happen with a delay of emails, but also phone calls. I know if I had the same excuses for a delay in doing my job or communicating that I definitely would not be employed. And to think that Car Connection Superstore was voted as the Quality Dealer of the Year by the Pennsylvania Independent Automobile Dealers Association. What I find interesting is that the Pennsylvania Independent Automobile Dealers Association (PIADA) has a code of ethics (www.pennsylvaniaiada.com). I advise my fellow used car consumers to do your research of the business by contacting the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) and the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General (www.attorneygeneral.gov), ask questions, and diligently review the Car Fax. Since I brought up the Better Business Bureau (BBB), I would like to discuss that Car Connection Superstore is NOT accredited; however, they do have BBB decals on the doors of the store. In addition, this business DOES have complaints against them not including mine. In my opinion, Car Connection Superstore is your stereotypical used car lot with salesmen that lack integrity, honesty, diligence and efficiency. Again, just my opinion. these are the shadiest people to ever buy a car from I don't even know how they are still in business. So I am from Michigan I was searching for a rust free clean low mileage mercury mountaineer I found a mercury mountaineer at car connection with 60,000 asked Jason if there was any rust on the body of the car he said no just the underbody has a little this car is in excellent shape.so I wired my 8739.55 that day for purchase as I was scowling the website pictures before I made my buy I seen a little rust on body and a engine light on I called Jason back up asked about engine light he said they scanned it and it was a misfire But then told me that the cars that are 10 years old are not our bread and butter we don't fix the older cars and that he could knock off 800 on purchase price.so this tells me they don't do nothing to older cars they just buy them then sell them I immediately told Jason I wanted to back out that I was no longer interested that I felt mislead,he then said owner wanted to get involved so owner mike Mansour called me and wanted to do a FaceTime on the am to overlook the car so I agreed. The next morning we did the FaceTime and the video showed a bunch of rust spots on the trim parts of body and a rip in front and back bumper that were not pictured so I stuck with my decision. I asked Michael Mansour to wire me my money back next day I said I would pay the 75$ wire fee.so he does try wire my money back to me but instead he try to electronic me my money back with the wire routing number instead of the paper electronic routing number so money gets kicked back to his acccount then after going back and fourth through email two weeks later he finally wires me my money at my expense and he only sent me 8604.55 and still owes me 60.00.this is the worst experience I have ever had trying to purchase a vehicle out of state they people are horrible from the top to the bottom read more

I went to Car Connection today (2/19/16) to look at a used 2010 dodge 2500 Cummins. To start with the customer service was terrible. It took 20 minutes before anyone even talked to me. I am 25 years old, maybe that had something to do with it. Still shouldn't judge someone by their age when they make 55-65k a year. Finally got someone to look it over. I went there unannounced to make sure nothing was being hidden when it was started. Sure enough the check engine light was on, another indicator light, and the transmission was leaking fluid. After I told the sales guy I wasn't interested anymore he then continued to tell me that not everything gets caught when it passed through inspection. So I said "so there could be more hidden". How can you miss a check engine light? Long story short I wouldn't of recommended anyone to go to them. read more
