We had the great good fortune of being referred to the Car Doctor business bc of their partnership with Premier Car Rental. Since we're from the West Coast, we did not realize that after returning our rental car to Car Doctor, it would be very difficult to get an uber or cab to pick us up in Washington and take us to the airport, Katie, one of the owners, came up with a solution for us in our moment of need by going above and beyond the call of duty. Her quick thinking, open heartedness and generosity of spirit will live on in our memory as a great representation of the sweet spirits of Mid Westerners. She, literally, saved the day for us so we could get to the airport on time. I count my lucky stars for the referral I received for the Car Doctor. I was originally looking for a place to have my car detailed and heard rave reviews from friends. While the car was there anyway I requested a routine oil change and check-up because the dreaded "check engine" light was on. During their check up on the car, several major issues were found. One of the owners, Katie, was incredible by taking me out into the garage to show me the dangerous situation with my wheel bearings and tie rods. She was also able to show me other items that were affecting the performance of my car. Because the items were fairly major, Katie gladly gave me a loaner car to drive and was marvelous in her communication with me. I ALWAYS knew what was going on. My 11 year old Infinity now runs beautifully and sparkles like a new car. I will return time and time again for the quality of service. read more

Our car stopped running on the interstate at night on Christmas Day late at night, & we had it towed to the nearest high-rated mechanic, Car Doctor. We were feeling very stressed!! We called in the morning to let them know why our car was parked there, & the owner, Katie, was so kind & SO professional - she put our minds at ease with her explanation about everything & was just completely helpful answering all our questions & we felt great relief that we were being very well taken care of. You could tell she really cared about us! She was absolutely wonderful on the phone with us, calling to let us know what was going on every step of the way & talking everything over with us & always made sure we had a great understanding of everything. Their place is so clean & inviting, & when we walked in the door, we knew immediately we had come to the right way place. It was wonderful to meet Katie & everyone working there, & it was so comforting to find them as kind & helpful & caring as they were on the phone! I can't say enough good things about them! We have been telling everyone we know about our very positive experience here, & I just want everyone who reads this to know what a positive wonderful experience this has been. To be put at ease & then have a great outcome, who could ask for more than that! The Car Doctor is an absolutely amazing place. They fixed a CRV we had before, and now they are fixing things on my Jeep. We have never had to take things back to do over again because they do it right the first time. They call with updates when they say they will, and even offered to pick the car up from the house! Their quotes are accurate and they are also very good about the estimated time for repairs. On top of all that, they are some of the friendliest people around, both the owners and the mechanics. read more

On my way home from work, I noticed my car was making strange noises.This isn't something I ignore and I immediately tried to get my car in to be fixed. I'm up in Des Moines this month for my surgical rotation, but normally I go to the same local place in Washington.The dealership I went to was booked through Wednesday, and my current schedule wouldn't allow me to get in to see them until the weekend. I decided to call my local friends at the Car Doctor in Washington because they've been servicing my vehicle since we moved there. I can't say enough about Keyry and Alfredo, the owners of the business. I'm extremely loyal to them and I recommend them to ANYONE and EVERYONE in the Washington area. This is why: last night, Alfredo drove FROM WASHINGTON TO DES MOINES to check on my car because he was worried something might be really wrong with it. Loyalty goes a long way with me, and Keyry and Alfredo are loyal to their customers. They always give me a fair assessment of any problem my vehicle may have, they repair it in a timely manner, and they would clearly do anything for their customers.
