I was not disappointed, not only they did a perfect tint job, they also custom ordered a tint film I preffered, and went out of their way to meet my very short deadline and extra custom requests. This place was recommended to me and I'm very happy it was! I live in Hamilton NJ and this is a good 30/40 min drive for me but it was WELL worth it. The owner and his staff were patient with me and my questions. They explained every step of the process and made sure to make me feel comfortable. This is my second time using Car Pretty and I will never go elsewhere..why? For starters their prices are amazing, and the quality of their work is impeccable!!! But beyond all that they really actually care about the work they do and tbh I guess that's why the job they do is so great!!! Small example of how much they really do care about their work ... I found this place through a simple Google search initially and then saw someone else's car with a great tint job...I asked them who did it and they said "Car Pretty." Based on the fact that this place was the only one in the Google search that looked half-way reputable and on the quality of the job I saw first-hand, I figured this place was pretty decent. I called for a price quote and was quoted $170 minus 10 dollars from a coupon I printed off their website = $160. Decent price. I went in on a weekday morning and was greeted by a nice guy who recommend 20 percent for me...but after a little indecision on my part, I actually went with 15 percent, which - in the end - I was MUCH happier with. Anyway, it's about three weeks later and the job looks pretty solid. I've found about 2 or 3 small bubbles in the rear window which I am going to go back to have them fix in a couple of days. Overall, you can't really beat that. Of course, if they fix those bubbles without any hassle - I'll bump this rating up to a 5 star...and it will stay that way if the tints don't turn purple, crack, peel or bubble up (if they do, I reserve the right to change the rating). So, with that said...it you need your car's windows tinted in the Philadelphia area - go here! My 3 week old tints look great! On a side note, the price quote did not include tax...and they only accept credit/debit cards if you're willing to pay a 3 percent fee. I paid with cash, so it wasn't an issue for me. ***7/24/2009 UPDATE** I called about the small bubbles. My first two phone calls weren't answered...the phone rang, rang and rang - no answer. I thought that was a little strange. The third time, someone answered. I explained the few small bubbles and asked if I could come in to have them handled. The guy on the phone immediately told me that I couldn't expect the job to be "perfect" and there was no guarantee. He said they could take a look at it but that didn't mean they "would" fix it (so, does that mean it's possible that they "could" fix it but they might just choose not to?)...and he added that if they decided to fix it, it might not be that same day. Overall, the guy was incredibly rude. This is unacceptable. Car Pretty makes a big deal about a Lifetime Warranty and being a high quality shop. I expect a "perfect" job just as much as you expect to get a "perfect" amount of money. I considered lowering my rating but decided against it - the tint job is very good, it was a decent price and the imperfections are slight. Unfortunately, it seems you cannot really rely on their customer service and the warranty seems to be equally worthless. read more

I had my 1995 Honda Accord tinted at Car Pretty several weeks ago. I never had any of my cars tinted in the past and researched the tint services in the area. I read some reviews and decided to call around. The owner Steve gave me a fair price on my 4 door and it has a lifetime warranty if I ever have a problem. I was able to get an appointment within a week and the service took no more than an hour total. I looked over the work carefully and found no flaws with the job--no bubbles, creases, dirt, or misaligned cuts. Paying for the professional job was the best thing I could have done. I had my previous car done at this shop 5 years ago and it was ok. So I figure I would come back again for my new car. When I first came in the owner looked at me like I was not welcomed there. As I sat there and kept watching, other customers were treated at the same manner. Ok sure, maybe it was just me being paranoid. Now comes to the quality of the work. They did it fairly quick ( for my car), when I drove my car out of the garage, I noticed a gap about 1 cm wide on the a pillar window (the small fixed window). I immediate went back and confronted the guy. He told me that there was nothing he can do because the machine cuts it like that. He also said that all the edges of my windows have the same gap because he could not tuck it under the rubber weather strips. I knew he was bs but then I was like oh ok and left. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, plus I had had a long day. when I was 4 blocks away, I then noticed a crease on the driver side window which I had to use my credit to flatten it out .....I was very disappointed. So I decide to drive straight to the guy I know in South Philly (ghetto) which I didn't really want to go in the first place. But guess what? he fixed my 2 small windows for 20 bucks, and I love it. The tint on UR windows will last the life time and very costly(costed me 200 bucks) , so pls pick UR shop wisely. Obviously not this one!!! read more

the shadiest "owner" that i've met in my life., the edges of the tint was hanging off the edge and crooked like no other (ive had 5-6 tints done on my cars before elsewhere) when took it back, he said, "are you NUTS? you complaining about this?" wow... I was lost for words when I was treated like this after having them put up the tint... a big mistake. I was referred to Car Pretty from a buddy who had taken a number of cars there and had established a relationship with the owner. When I went, the owner, Steve quoted my tint job total @ $170. Plus tax (I used a card) it came to about $180 or so...not too bad. The job looked great as I got 20% on my 2012 Kia Forte EX sedan. It took maybe about 30 min total and I left happy. So here I go..... I been coming to Steve for over 10 years. Back to when he was on grant and bustleton ave. I tinted over 10 of my personal vehicle with him and had multiple friends go to him. Overall I probably sent over 50 cars including mine. The problem arises with his lifetime warranty. One car I did back window totally bubbled. When I took it back to Steve who knows me well he states he didn't do the work. When I proved to him with the receipt he stated he needs to submit it to claims to address the issue... Steve then started to ignore my calls and give me the run around. The window looked so bad that I paid another company to rip it off. This was totally a big mistake on Steve's part. I will never take another car to him nor refer another person to him. One of my friends who tinted his jaguar with Steve pointed out some bubbles and Steve replied we don't live in a perfect world! Lol! Wow. Never again.. you just lost a decent customer. Beware!!! read more
