What I could not capture was the haze on the hood which was supposed to have waxed and the streak marks on the inside of the windshield that were so bad that I had to pull over on the way home and clean it myself. Cup holders, center console not cleaned, literally the worst detailing job I've ever had done. This was clearly not a effort worthy of the $240 bill. When I called the owner about my experience I found him passive aggressive and unapologetic for his team's attempt. I have really been neglecting my car lately. Not getting it washed and waxed where it was starting to look down right embarrassing. I got a email from Glenside Auto Spa for a Ceramic Wax special for $80 that runs to the end of September. I've never heard of a ceramic wax, but sounded good. So I called Brian to make a appointment. I decided, while the car was there, to get the inside detailed as well. He was very nice and professional setting the date and time for me to come in. Louis (very professional and personable) is the young man that did the work and my car looks like a brand new car. The wheels are shining, upholstery looked like new, trunk clean, car just shining from top to bottom! So, so pleased with the job he did. Took the car in at 9am, he was done by 1:30pm. Once again , I'm proud to drive my car. Only downside. they only take cash! I still would highly recommend Glenside Auto Spa! read more

Do NOT use this business. Brian is extraordinarily rude, unprofessional, and inappropriate. He called me on my cell phone to say my car was done. He did NOT use his business number and I had no idea he called. When I called him to ask if my car was done, he asked why I don't answer my "f**king phone. I had also already told him I was deaf. He only accepts cash, which is clearly suspicious and hung up on my husband when he called back to find out where my car was. read more

Pricier than others, but close by, so I used them. A little difficult to nail down for a pick-up time. Initially, he asked if I could be there by 3:30 (because he wanted to leave early). Then he stated I'd have to come when they called, regardless of time. Essentially, I paid a $40 premium over other locations and had to take off work early and wait for a phone call to pick it up late (4:30). Finished product is good, though. read more

Wanted to like this place but will not be going back. I will attach pictures of the lackluster job. Lots of ArmourAll doesn't make for a clean car. Dashboard is caked with the stuff. For this much money I think a little attention to "detail" would have went a long way. I tolled windows down and it doesn't look like the top most part was even wiped. I took a businesss card and ran it through all the crevices around the radio and gear shifter. Honestly get a better wash inside and out for $30 at a drive through. Sunday I had an interior detail done. I wouldn't recommend. I brought it in because someone threw up in my car. Not only did I explain how to move around seats and I checked when I came back 3 hours later. They're still dirt and vomit underneath my seats. 110$ and it's still dirty. Not to mention dirt was still on the dashboard doors when I wiped and dirt still by The Doors. very poorly done. Go somewhere else. read more

NEVER GO TO THIS COMPANY!!! This "company" ruined my paint job. They did a sub par job cleaning the interior and exterior of a Toyota suv. When I took the truck in they were all smiles and confident. I asked them to detail the truck for sale. A perspective buyer just wanted it clean so I figured I would give them a shot based on reviews. Boy were those reviews wrong. When I got it back the exterior was clean but the unskilled boy who they were training buffed too hard in three places and burned right through the paint. They gave me a small discount but I should have told them to repaint the whole vehicle. They didn't even apologize. The interior was wiped down but when I opened the center console there was pools of cleaner just left in the compartments. It permanently stained the plastic and leather. There was trash under the seats and in the door wells. These guys are supposed to professional detailers, they are just unskilled and unprofessional. I foolishly called them again from a referral not realizing it was them, they had moved from a nice shop to a crappy gas station, way to go chumps. I wanted my windows tinted, when I realized it was the same company I told them that they ruined my paint job and I wanted them to fix it or give me a discount. The boy answering the phone got a little ghetto attitude and refused to work with me. I gave them the chance to redeem themselves and they failed once again. Do yourself a favor and NEVER GO TO THIS SHOP!! I can't stress enough how bad these people are at their jobs. They need to put on their big boy pants and learn to serve the customer. I had a great experience here last weekend getting a full detail. My jetta is 7 years old but doesn't have a lot of miles on it. Over the years my toddler daughter had destroyed the interior by spilling food plus normal wear and dirt accumulated. Now it looks like a brand new car inside and out. They were able to get all of the parking marks and scuffs out from years of city living, even a 2 ft long line of paint from when another car brushed up against mine years ago while parking. The interior shines and is immaculate. I feel so much better driving this car and will be back to regularly maintain it! When I tell you I have trouble trusting my car with people is an under statement. I'm always getting screwed over somehow. I am so happy I found this place. It's a little out of the way for me but it's worth the drive for me. (When I say out of the way it's only 20 minutes away from me) I've had other businesses quote me insane numbers where I could probably hire the president to clean my car for me at that point. Don't get me wrong I don't mind paying for quality but some people were really ridiculous. Triple the industry standard?! I have 4 kids who eat and drink in my minivan. Needless to say, the interior is in pretty bad shape. I called Glenside auto spa and Brian was courteous and said he could help. I met with Lewis at my appointment time and he told me not to worry and the car would turn out fine. I cannot explain how AMAZING the interior looked when I picked up my van. BEST IT HAS EVER LOOKED. Like new. GLENSIDE AUTO SPA IS FIRST CLASS. And the price was extremely fair. Leather treatment was not greasy like at other places. It truly was a perfect experience from beginning to end. I took my car here for an exterior-only detail and ozone treatment. First of all, the ozone treatment wasn't really done, even though I was charged for it. The manager told me to expect an ozone smell in the car for a while and that it would dissipate. No such problem occurred, because the ozone was never done. Paint was scraped down to the primer in two places on the hood, leaving a 3/4" groove in the paint. Whatever tool they used to lift some adhesive from my hood must have been sharp and improperly used, as it left scratches all over the area. Finally, I told them NOT to touch the interior of my car. I didn't want that glossy mess all over my interior, and I had some new leather accents that weren't resistant to chemicals. When I came to pick up my car, the entire interior looked like coconut oil had been rubbed all over it. I presume I got charged for that. I almost considered going back recently, simply because there aren't many local detailers, but now that I see all these other reviews (with photos) where people show paint buffed down to the metal, I won't! UPDATE: In light of the comment, I would like to state that my interior was already cleaned and I requested that the components not be dressed with interior polish. When I arrived, the interior WAS re-cleaned and dressed with interior polish, and yet the ozone treatment that I paid for was NOT done. read more

I don't normally submit reviews, especiallly negative ones, but I feel others need to know about my experience with this company. I paid top dollar two weeks ago to have my car detailed, inside and outside, which should automatically include waxing, since I paid extra for them to use ceramic wax on it. Turns out, they did NOT wax my car. My mechanic who is a former detailer plainly demonstrated on my car by waxing part of the hood both how a waxed car should feel, and how water poured on it should bead up, which it did neither. I called the owner, Brian, about it, and he was very rude and unprofessional, and would not even take a look at the vehicle himself. He claimed a mechanic wouldn't know whether a vehicle was waxed, and basically offered to do nothing to help me or check it out further. He claimed he had cameras, but when I asked if he keeps the video, or looked at it the day my car was detailed, he couldn't answer either. He claimed it shouldn't have taken me 2 weeks to recognize this, but I'm a woman who isn't experienced with what a waxed car looks like. There were also spots still on the carpet inside. I would think a reputable business owner would be concerned if his worker may have cut corners and affected his reputation. I strongly recommend NOT using this company! read more

I was very disappointed in my interior detail. I recently bought a used car from a private seller and wanted to treat myself to a professional detail. The guys had my car for 3 hours and honestly I could've done a more thorough job myself at a self wash. Brian assured me that the seats and carpets had all been shampooed but the seats barely looked like they'd been vacuumed. One sweep of my hand across the passenger seat and a paper clip popped out. The floor mats seemed clean but there was still sand on the carpet on the floor in the back and the hatchback area was completely dirty. The rear view mirror still had sticky splatter on it. The front console was no cleaner than when I dropped it off. It was a waste of a $100. read more

Do not recommend. Price was reasonable for tint work on vehicle however owner does not value customer service. Having to correct some of the unresolved issues as a customer is unprofessional. I needed my car detailed at the last minute (literally an hour or so before I needed to show up with it at a dealership for appraisal). I spoke with Bryan who told me that he would try his best to get me in today, I showed up to Glenside and was greeted by Joe who was already busy detailing another car. He let me explain my situation that he was already briefed on by Bryan and quickly accommodated my car cleaning needs. Just a little about me... I NEVER take my car to get it cleaned, prior to today that may have been one of the last things on my priority list. OH HOW QUICKLY THAT CHANGED!! When Joe was finished detailing my car, I literally fell in love with my car all over again like the day I purchased it. He did an awesome job, he paid attention to every nook and cranny! My once off white car was now sparkling pearly white again! I am hard to please but I was blown away! I will definitely return, hopefully in my brand new car! Due to covid19 I had a to wait a few weeks as the Spa was only tinting once a week. Brian informed me during my initial request for an appointment an approximate time to be seen as i would have to wait a few weeks. I was notified when a slot was available which happened to work out perfect for my schedule. I dropped my car off and was told 2hrs for the tint to be done and actually was done in less time than what was quoted. I'll definitely be back for other services. I love the enhancement to my car. The day before I was supposed to get the install completed I called them to confirm my appointment. They cancelled on me said they did t have availability for another 6 weeks. They got stains out of the carpets I didn't even know were there. The car looks like new, so shiny inside and out! Brian was very accommodating when it came to scheduling. I discovered Glenside Auto Spa on my way home after meeting with a client in the area for lunch. I made an appointment and came back the following week. The detail process took about half a day to complete, I dropped off my car in the morning and picked it up around 3pm. Upon arrival, I noticed some new chips in my paint and soap suds that weren't wiped off during drying on some of the chrome accents. I mentioned the chips and they were dismissed - I know my car like the back of my hand, the car is never driven on the highway and was resprayed 8 months prior, it's (was) perfect. I asked to wipe off the soap suds and noticed that it wasn't coming off, the employee tried a number of polishes and nothing took it off. I asked what we could do and he said he could plasti-dip the trim, I said it wasn't an ideal or permanent solution and asked what else could be done, he mentioned vinyl wrap. He said he'd follow up with me when his vinyl wrap guy could come out to wrap the trim. The employee also mentioned he used dish soap on my car... "It has a mild degreaser". Clearly it's not meant for cars. A couple days after the detail I was walking out of a Walgreens and the sun was beaming down on the hood and noticed the hood had really bad marring caused from improper use of a rotary polisher. The paint also had more swirl marks than when I brought it in. The day before I brought in the car, a bird pooped on the hood. They didn't clean off the poop entirely and buffed right over it, now it's etched into the clear coat. I'm a very busy guy and don't have time to follow up and do other peoples jobs. I expect other people to hold to their word and do their jobs as agreed. About 3 months go by and I didn't hear anything from Glenside Auto Spa. I pulled up their website and sent an inquiry via their website to follow up. It was never responded to, maybe because they wanted to play games and play the "I hope he forgets" card. I don't see how any business that requires customer outreach to drive business not being responsive. About 4 months go by and I had another meeting with the same client. I decided to stop by to see what the issue was and how we could resolve the damage caused to my car. The owner Brian came out as this was the first time he had heard of the issue, which means the employee had never told him he made a mess of a clients car. We spoke about what happened and noticed that I had covered the trim with plasti-dip (I sprayed it because I couldn't look at it anymore). He asked why I waited 4 months, I told him his employee was supposed to follow up and dropped the ball. They only offered to cover the trim with vinyl wrap and not replace anything, Brian said he'd follow up once he heard back from the vinyl guy... He called him right in front of me, I don't see what took so long for his employee to do the same thing. I think his employee didn't want to take the blame for the damage he caused. A couple days later Brian sends me a text message saying his vinyl guy couldn't wrap all the trim and could only plasti-dip it. I said that's unacceptable and either want it replaced by a dealer by the book or wrapped in vinyl. I got a quote from a local shop and they said it wasn't a problem to wrap the chrome in vinyl and asked if they would reimburse after I had it done since they couldn't do it. Brian said "We won't be reimbursing anything. If you decide to let them do it that is your choice." He then said "We won't be doing anything." after I asked him to take it to the dealership to be fixed. All in all this was a horrible experience and I wish I had never taken my car to Glenside Auto Spa to be detailed. Everyone was "I got you buddy" till something happened and they didn't want to take ownership for the problems they created. - Added on 7/24/16 Re: Owner Response - On the day of the detail, the agreement was established that there was a problem. The next step was to find a solution. The pasti-dip solution was recommended which I declined for reasons of durability. Vinyl wrap was also recommended and seemed like a possible fix. After months of waiting and an inquiry the company website I had no response. It was only when I physically went to the shop that there was any movement. It's also interesting to note Brian, that it seemed you got your vinyl wrap guy on the phone in one call. I wonder why your employee couldn't have done the same thing, everything seems a little premeditated to me. I wanted the problems created by Glenside Auto Spa fixed, not re-styled. Sometimes in this industry you have employees and owners that recommend a cheap fix (plasti-dip) to try and remedy an issue while avoiding the real problem: a permanent solution. At the end of the day, Glenside Auto Spa is nothing more than a corner store car wash with inadequate training for its employees that admitted to using things like dish soap that caused damage to my car. read more

I hadn't gotten my car detailed in about five years and it needed window tinting as well; it gets way too hot too fast inside. Brian and team did a fantastic job! The streaks disappeared from the tinting material as it set, and an engine steam clean made the engine look new as well as the rest of the car. I called Glenside Auto Spa for an interior wash at the last minute and I was still able to get an appointment for the date/time I needed. Now that's accommodation!! Brian was very professional and and prompt. I didn't have to sit @ and wait. They took my car at the exact appointment time and my car was ready exactly when he quoted it would be done. I just wish I would've been able to get my tint done at the same time and I was not called back about a possibility for the next day as I was told. That's the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.
