I've had two cars done here. Computer cutouts so it's exact. They are on the more expensive side but again- the computer cutout is exact- the wait time is exactly that- you can wait for your car because they can complete it usually in about an hour. I'd give 5 stars but being on the higher price side and when I called I received two different price quotes-they honored the lower one but I could have ended up paying $60 bucks more. read more

Quite an array of different types and tints...computer cut so they fit like a glove. I have an F150 regular cab, so just 2 sides and back (I chose the Sun Tek metalized film), and it was done in about 30 minutes. Pleasant waiting room. John (owner?) said that the couple of tiny bubbles would go away within a week...they did. 1 year warranty. Looks like I hoped that it would...very pleased. There and back home in about an hour. STAY AWAY...SAVE URSELF THE HURT I went to Car Optics to get tint work for my vehicle. It looked nice. Didn't roll down my windows for 4 days. Then when I rolled down my window on that 4th day I noticed that my driver side window when rolled down would come off track a bit. I went to back to the shop. They told me that it was the window regulator. I told them it wasn't like this when I 1st came into this shop. They said that it could've been like this but I didn't notice it, which is TOTAL B. S. So I've been going to car optics for awhile now and I haven't had issue up until now . I recently got my windshield tinted and I keep my car in pristine condition it's a brand new car! I go send look at my windshield and the shit is scratched up! How do I know? I wipe my car off inside and out everyday to keep it clean so i know what my windshield looked like beforehand. Two stars because the tint actually looked good. I would give one star because the service was unprofessional and rude. There was this one guy who was very young and skinny. He needs a class in customer service. He was very condescending and sarcastic. He wanted to argue with me about what percent tint i wanted. He was very nasty in telling me what i could see and what i couldn't see. Again, if i told you what i wanted there is no need to go back and forth with me. I didnt feel welcomed and he made it clear they had many more appointments. I dont care how great the tint is, your customer service was horrible. Made an appointment earlier in the week and went in on Saturday 1/23/2021 (I requested this day, they did have earlier availability). Parked the car and went inside. Upon entering you are shown a wall of different percentages. They explained everything well to us and were honest. They then took the car and worked their magic. Within 30 minutes they were done! Went here on a recommendation from a friend. My price was discounted because of the referral, but even without it -- their prices are pretty darned cheap. It'll vary depending on your vehicle, but shop around and I'm pretty sure you'll find Car Optics fairly competitive. All of the tint is computer-cut specifically for your vehicle make/model/year. They warranty the work for up to a year. The work is also done pretty quickly and they've got a comfy waiting room with a TV. Everything is also explained pretty well, the process any they're quite helpful when it comes to answering any questions you might have. One stipulation though: I can't verify this but I have a feeling one of the guys working on my car might have accidentally damaged some of the lining on one of my car doors. There was a tear in the leather on the door that I hadn't noticed before, though I have no way of proving this to be honest... I noticed it immediately after getting home from getting my car tinted. All things considered though, my friend and I were treated fairly (he got his car done too), we were impressed with the quality of service and the speed at which the work was done... and no real complaints. We even added on the spontaneous tinting of our tail lights as well... I was impressed to discover that they also performed that service and hopped at the opportunity at the additional cost. It's been about three days and there's still some visible bubbles on my back windshield when viewed from outside. They're quite tiny but I might have to give a call if it becomes a problem. read more

Brought in my 17 gti to get tinted today. One of the few shops in the area to not resort to using vinyl to cover the two front triangle windows. One local shop wanted an extra 70 bucks just to do those two windows! With the very reasonable price of the full tints, I'm very satisfied. Shop said it will take two weeks for the hazing and small bubbles to disappear but based on the install of under an hour and a half hour, friendliness of the employees, and the clean install (no water left on my door panels or anything like that) I'll leave the 5 star review. I left there with the feeling that if I did have any issues with the tints going forward I could come back and they'd take care of me. Will definitely return if I need any other cars done in the future. read more

I was 5 minutes late for my appointment but I was greeted by a staff member with a smile. He came in and explained to me the different options I had and answered all of my questions.
