I was looking to get a new remote programmed for my system and was quoted for a whole new system after being told by the manufacturer that any dealer can replace my remote. It took them weeks to actually get my car and system looked at. I then took my system to another dealer who was more than happy to look at my system and quote me for a new remote. auto Xpress needed to see the car in person when the other dealer (Remote start MN/12 volt heaven) was able to determine the type of remote I would need and have me a cost and how long the programming would take. The cost was what he quoted but took significantly less time than quoted which was ideal for my situation. another time we had a fuel tank brought to auto Xpress to he resealed and they outsourced the tank to a place in chaska who lost it. The entire time they lied and were saying they had it in the shop. After about 2 months of waiting we told them to give it back even if it wasn't complete. Overall very disappointed in the service received and trying to be scammed into buying a whole new system.

The worst place. They tried to scam me out of my car! My car seemingly overheated one day and…read morewouldn't start again so I brought it here to J+R. They put a starter in and told me the head gasket was blown and it would be $1400 to repair or $2000+ to replace the engine. They also offered to buy the car from me for "parts". I told them i didn't know what I wanted to do but I will probably sell it to them. He said he'll call me on Monday to talk about it with me. Monday came and went with no call. Eventually I decided I wanted another repair quote from another mechanic so I went to J+R to pay for the starter and what do I discover? They've taken the starter back out without my permission. I also mentioned those head gasket sealers and asked if there was any chance it might help my car, they said no the engine was too far gone. So they ended up charging me for an "inspection" even though I did have the starter replaced, the starter they decided to take back out without telling me. Not to mention they left my grille and my air intake in the passenger seat, they didn't even bother to put my car back together. So i got the car towed to another mechanic and you'll never believe what he told me. The engine was perfectly fine. The head gasket was in good condition. J+R lied to me. He replaced the starter and it runs well with no issues. As for why the car told me it overheated that one day is a mystery, but it was running well again now. I paid the new mechanic $277 for the starter and got my car back which runs great. It didn't make sense at the time but now it's obvious. The reason the J+R guys took the starter back out without telling me is because they were worried I would start the car and realize there was nothing wrong with it. They lied to me so they could buy my car at a really cheap price just to resell it. Scamming criminals they are at J+R. Never come here. Who knows how many others they have scammed out of their cars. They lied right to my face, they didn't do what I asked of them, and they tried to trick me into basically giving them my fully functional car. They aught to be put out of business.
