A nice and cozy little beach cafe and bar. No food other than complimentary salted mixed nuts to aid thirst, but they are tasty. Negro mojitos (lime) are amazingly good!! My wife and I were only in Malaga for 4 days and still spent 2 nights here, and probably would have done a third if we had discovered it earlier. I walked along the boardwalk on the beach until I saw drinks that I wanted to try. I walked in to find the bartender, Begonia, pressing juice (with a juicer) from fresh oranges and limes into drinks and knew I was in the right place for great drinks.
The service was extremely friendly and one evening even ended with a free round of tequila shots with salt and lime with Begonia. She even indulged my curiosity about how to make such amazing black Mojitos, so I could attempt to replicate the magic back in California.
Even the other patrons were a mix of mostly locals with the occasional tourist and very friendly.
Can't think of any cons unless you could count enjoying Mojitos so much that you lose track of time and everywhere that serves dinner is closed, lol!
Ok, I did think of one odd thing. The bathrooms had no toilet seats. Not like I would ever go near one in a bar anyways though. read more
