He said to pay at the end. I had to keep my head a bit low as I seemed to be alone in supporting the All Blacks. At half time, soft white rolls appeared at the bar together with freshly cooked sausages and bacon. Patrons were invited to make our own breakfast baps, finishing off with ketchup or brown sauce. Happily, my team squeaked home by one point. There was a lovely family atmosphere, aided by the owner's little daughter running round.
