Unbelievable! I never usually write reviews, but feel compelled. They were very friendly to me from the start, and the gentlemen who served me basically ordered for me, and wow, were the crepes good. Homemade, and supposedly new combinations daily. I love places like that - where the people are like trust me, you'll love this, and then you do! A special place (super lucky I randomly walked in), and in my next trip to Paris, I am sure to revisit. A must go in my opinion. I had 1 day in Paris and took a tour to see the sights but always like to take a cooking class when I travel. I can tell you this is one of my favorite classes. I was a solo participant but there were families there as well. 3 hours went by quickly and you not only learn how to make crepes but the history behind them. As someone who's taken many cooking classes before, I can honestly say Stephane's amazing sweet crepe making class has been by far the best! The crepes themselves are absolutely delicious but the true star is Stephane himself. He is truly a master crepe chef that's put alot of time and attention in teaching this class. It was well organized, instructional, super fun and left us feeling like we were cooking with a friend. He was patient with instruction, showed us technique and sprinkled in his charm and humor in between. This is a real crepe restaurant in Paris and not just a chef pretending to make crepes. We enjoyed our sweet crapes with salted caramel and the other amazing toppings that we could choose from. They also have galette crepes that aren't sweet but we didn't have those. Next time we're in Paris I will definitely go back for some more authentic crapes. read more

Crepes are a staple to try when in France and this place is definitely the place to get them. Came here for a late night snack and just planned on getting a sweet crepe but they all sounded so good that I had to get two. I had a savory one with egg, ham, cheese, and crispy onion which was delicious and the sweet crepe with the homemade salted butter which was one of the best things I tasted my whole time in Paris! This review is regarding my tremendous crepe-making class taught by the owner / crepe expert, Stephane! He is highly-educated and passionate in the art of crepe/galette making, so I absolutely recommend coming here to try his delicious menu and/or taking a cooking class with him. -- This is an absolute DELIGHT of an experience. My husband and I wanted to take a few cooking classes on our honeymoon in Europe. This was by far our favorite class that we took. There was a group of 8 of us - a family with two children, a pair of friends, and us honeymooners. This class was excellent for everyone - even the kids! It was fun to bond with the others in the group. We loved being able to cook in the kitchen of an actual restaurant. Stephane owns this well-reviewed restaurant but closes it for several hours in the afternoon for his crepe classes. I have never met anyone as passionate about what they do as Stephane is. He is a crepe expert, and his love and passion for them are so evident throughout the class, which makes it even more special. Thanks to him, my husband and I have both grown a true appreciation for crepes given the insightful history lesson and hands-on crepe making steps. Not only is Stephane an incredibly passionate teacher, but he is also very entertaining and funny! Not only do you learn how to make fantastic crepes, but you also learn some tremendous cooking secrets that you can use in your day-to-day cooking/baking outside the world of crepes. A great value, nice ambiance and gluten-free food in Paris? Can't beat it. The crepe selection here is huge and diverse, and they have the crepes with the over-easy egg in the middle, which I was dying to try. We were seated outside, and when it started to drizzle the staff were so kind and immediately reseated us with no trouble. They also chatted with us about local things to do and about our life in San Francisco, and I really enjoyed the conversation and friendliness :) There's an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients and everything was so crisp and fresh. Crepes can sometimes get soggy or oily, but these were so light (ate the entire huge plate a little too easily...) If you're gluten-free and in Paris I would highly recommend coming here! read more

Fantastic authentic restaurant serving a variety if sweet crepes and savory galletes. If traveling with a group of up to 16, they can accommodate you if you call ahead! We arrived with a school group of 12 yesterday and ordered: soft drinks, salads, galletes, and crepes. The sit down meal was relatively quick and delicious. The 17 year old students cleaned their plates, almost to a man (all boys' school WW2 study trip). You cant go wrong with the friendly staff's recommendations. We will certainly return. read more

Randomly walked by this place and it looked so adorable that I had to try it out. And seriously I was glad I did - I had the most wonderful crepe ever that I came back to try more. Unfortunately, only that one crepe was amazing. Let me tell you - if you come here you MUST MUST try the {{Salted Caramel Crepe}}. It is so amazing - just the perfect sweetness and taste ~sigh. It was so good I bought a can of salted caramel to take back home (€6). But before I tell you about the rest of the menu I tried - let's talk about the place. It's tiny - and it's popular! Don't ever come in large groups it's difficult to squeeze anyone in. Now on to the service. The staff are so incredibly friendly and helpful. I didn't speak any french but they immediately realized and gave us an English menu and explained everything to us :). So back to the food - the second time we came here we got a set menu (something like two savory crepes + 2 sweet crepes). They also gave us some complimentary rolled up crepe which tasted like fish and butter as well as a salad - which was great actually. The CIDER - I guess I was just a little woozy from having woken up but I didn't realize it was alcoholic. So here we are at 10 am sipping some cider first thing in the morning haha. Delicious crêperie where I'm having lunch sometimes. This place is so much better than average crêpes restaurants in Paris. There are a lot of choices on the menu, some are quite unusual but somehow delicious. However, what I prefer here is the "surprise du chef": the concept is very simple, you just have to tell the waiter what you don't like eating, and the chef will prepare a customized crepe for you. I am always very positively surprised by the original and unusual taste associations. Service is sometimes over busy, especially during lunch peak hours. However they always do their best efforts to be as efficient as possible. And food is good for value. I recommend, no hesitation! read more

We had dinner here in June while on vacation. It was our favorite meal of the trip. Everyone at the table really enjoyed every part of the meal and the party included three children who ate everything. I wish I could visit the restaurant on a regular basis to sample everything on the menu. On the night I had SUCRÉE-SALÉE which was goat cheese, pine nuts, grilled eggplant and honey.
